Lucas huffs, “Close enough. Still something about the mind.” He shrugs, “I said almost, by the way. Almost all. There are too many songs for me to know them all, darling.” He hums, going back to his book.

Tristan snickers. "All I have to do is find them."

Lucas shrugs, “Look, it’s not a competition, Tris. Not everything is a competition.”

"Wannna bet?" Tristan drawls.

“No, I don’t! Because that would make it a competition! I just want to relax. Or whatever. . . Maybe go out and do something. . . without it being a fucking competition.”

Tristan laughs.

"Fine, fine, have it your way." he teases.

Lucas rolls his eyes, flopping back, staring at the ceiling, “Though a fucking competition might be nice. . .” He murmurs, snickering, “Just a thought.”

Tristan snort-laughs. "Make up your mind, Mr. Indecisive."

Lucas looks at him, silent for a moment, “Do you even know what I meant by that?” He tilts his head slightly.

"Yes, I did." Tristan huffs.

“What did I mean?” LUcas asks, still staring up at the ceiling.

"Boning, fornicating, playing with the slippery banana, teasing the trouser snake-" Tristan snickers.

Lucas pauses and then gives him a weird look, “Why that fuck—“ He shakes his head, “Never mind. I never asked—“

Tristan starts laughing. "I have more."

Lucas shakes his head, “I’m not being indecisive. I’m to. . . Yeah, no, I couldn’t even have a sex competition.” He snickers slightly, “The competition part, I can’t do, the sex. . . Yeah. . . I can do sex. . .”

Tristan rolls his eyes. "I was the one doing the 'sex' bits-"

“Still. Whatever.” Lucas shrugs, “It’s still sex. Just because I did almost nothing, doesn’t mean you didn’t like it. Otherwise, you wouldn’t have stayed up almost all night.”

Tristan smirks. "Fair."

Lucas laughs softly, closing his eyes.

Tristan starts to hum again.

Lucas huffs, “Welp. I’m going out. See you later.” He sits up.

Tristan "looks" at Lucas. "To where?"

Lucas shrugs, “I’m bored. . . Like, super bored. . . So I’m going to walk around until I find someone or something to do. . . Or. . . Do me. . . I guess. . . I don’t know, haven’t figured it out, I’m just bored.”

Tristan smirks. "Well-"

"-I volunteer." he says.

“Too late. I told you about 5 minutes ago.” He pulls his shoes on, getting up and walking towards the door.

Tristan raises an eyebrow and is suddenly up and leaning against the doorframe.

Lucas sighs, “Trisssss-“

Tristan shrugs casually. "Yes, Luc?"
