Claude smiled at the closeness; getting drunk always made him more cuddly. The idea that Neo didn't care because he was too busy looking for Claude was nice. Too bad they hadn't found each other earlier, or they could have danced properly before getting drunk. But it was Claude's own fault for making a beeline for the alcohol. "Yeah, are you?" he asked, taking another sip of the moonshine.

Floris just hummed, feeling squished in a pleasant way, like a weighted blanket, but people. He loved people. He didn't usually, but right now he loved people, they were so nice. He liked these people, they were nice and pretty and he wanted to kiss them… But they were together, so oh well! No kisses for him.

"Yeah." Neo smiled and swayed slightly. The alcohol was finally getting to him and his head was swimming pleasantly. He looked down at the humming Florist. He was smiling like an idiot. "What are we going to do about him?" Neo asked looking back to Claude.

Reyan snatches a bottle of some clear alcohol or other and sighs.

"I'm bored, so I'm going to get shitfaced." she grins, draining the bottle in a few gulps and laughing to herself.

She looks at the drunk Duke, and smirks. Suddenly, tonight was seeming very fun.

Claude paused for a moment, uncertain. Part of him wanted to be alone with Neo, but Floris was nice and pretty and Claude kind of wanted him to stay. "I dunno," he ended up with. "I think we should let him stay, though." He smiled.

Eilwyn had been standing there, downing alcohol as she paid little attention to the conversation between Claude, Neo, and Reyna. She had spotted a woman across the room, reading a book in the corner, and was trying to work up the courage to go talk to her.

She sighed as she poured herself another glass. Why, oh why, did she have to get so nervous around hot people? Why couldn't she be more like Ambrosia? Flirty, confident, and sure of herself, Eilwyn was certain that it was impossible for her older sister to get nervous in moments like this.

Reyna tilts her head, listening.

"Floris should stay. After all, he looks like fun right now." she giggles, grabbing another bottle of clear liquor and drinking that too.

Floris giggled again. "Did you know mollusks can live to up to one hundred and fifty years?" He asked, words slurring and he swayed in the other's arms. "We should go outside? Can we go outside? It's so pretty!"

Reyna chuckles.

"That is a very interesting fact, Floris." she replies.

"Outside doesn't have pretty people, though!" she giggles, grabbing yet another bottle of liquor - this time one of those golden liquids Neo had given her earlier.

Claude thought for a moment. "Outside would be nice," he agreed, glancing at Neo. He really just wanted to be with people whom he adored, the scenery didn't make too much of a difference to him.

At this point, Reyna was starting to be a little affected by all the alcohol, as she downs the latest bottle easily.

"Ugh, I can't even get properly drunk right now. . ." she mutters.

She looks over at Claude and smirks, sidling up to him playfully. "Hey- you got any good drinks on you?"

Claude handed her the flask of moonshine, too drunk to really care about where it ended up. He still wasn't the most fond of her, but the alcohol took the edge off of any real annoyance. "You can try this if you want. It's pretty good."

"It's so pretty, and there are lots of birds! I hope I see a phoenix, they aren't common around here, but there are a few rare sightings!" Floris rambled, flapping his hands before turning his face into the Neo's arm, the light in the ballroom being much too loud at the moment.

Reyna grins. "Thank you, sweetheart!"

She drains the flask and immediately feels the effects of it hit her. She wobbles slightly before regaining her balance, her face flushed a deep ashy grey color.

"Whoo-hoo!" she cheers happily.

Diane had been dancing, not even paying attention to the drinks table, which she obviously should've been, because when she went to go get another glass of wine, she saw her little brother in the grasp of some… Heathen!

Her eyes lit with fury before her brother turned his head towards her and smiled. "Di, have you met Claude and Neo? They're so nice, and so pretty, and Ryena is here too, she's pretty too, you think she's pretty, I know." He slurred, making Diane's eyes soften.

Reyna was now very clearly inebriated. She slides right up to Diane with a teasing smile.

"Hiii." she says, the word not so much slurred as elongated. "I'm Reyna. Did you know that I love your horns? They're so. . . so. . . beautiful. Like you and your brother."

"Hiiii," Claude added, looking at Diane as well. "We are very pretty, thanks!"

Diane laughed softly. "I see you've all been getting into the Dragon's Blood moonshine." She observed, eyebrows raising and she surveyed the scene, eyes landing on Reyna. "And thank you love, you're quite cute yourself."
