I know this has nothing to do with writing but, I'm a wannabe voice actor and I'm just wondering, if anyone is experienced or has done voice acting before, if any of you could share some tips on how to start, how to make demos, how to practice, etc. Thanks!💖

P.S. I'm thinking of voice acting for animation-related stuff.

Really, thanks! Also, just wondering, what kind of VA have you done?

I haven't done any offical va jobs, but I've been voicing and writing my own podcasts for a bit, as well as I'm waiting to hear back for a youtube series

That's cool! Do you do demos or do you do certain things for voice acting? (Dude, I don't even know what to ask lol. (O-O''))

Of course! So the person who you're trying to get to employ you will put out a few lines, and you'll record them! When you do so, try to avoid getting too close to the mic so that when you talk louder, it doesn't pop

Alright, could you please explain what a VA gig is, I've heard of musician gigs, but never VA gigs, and what kind of lines do they give you?

(Also, thank you so much for your explanations! I may bombard you with more questions, I'm sorry. (TwT))
