Tristan raises an eyebrow.
"So you're telling me that one of the most expensive seasonings just based off of what its made of alone is so commonplace in places like the U.K., and specifically Irish pubs and diners, that even places that have shitty food will have truffle salt?" he asks.
"No, that's not what I'm saying. I can't do all the. . . Luxury goods very often, and most of the time, I prefer a home cooked meal."
Tristan grins and laughs sheepishly.
"Ah. . . well I can do home cooked meals." he says thoughtfully.
"Homecooked is the best." Luc smes
Tristan nods.
"I wholeheartedly agree. But we already ordered our food, and I hate wasting things, so." he sighs.
Lucas sighs, "Fine, I suppose you're right."
Tristan grins.
"And speaking of, I think there's someone walking over here right now with our food." he says.
Sure enough, a waiter brings their drinks and food to their table. Tristan thanks the waiter before looking at Lucas and smiling broadly.
"Time to eat." he says.
Lucas rolls his eyes, "No duh. . ." He mutters, taking a bite of food.
Tristan pauses, then realizes: "Shit. I don't know where my plate is. Or my beer."
Lucas smirks, "Oh. . . Right." He reaches forwards sliding Tristans plate and beer away from him, "There."
(now you're being an ass Luc-)
(XD and Tristan now wants to deck Luc)
Tristan pulls off an extreme death glare, since he knew exactly where Lucas was.
"I know you did not just take my food from me, Luc." he says quietly.
Lucas sighs, pushing it back to him, "Nope."
(Remember XD Tris does not like it when people take his food)
Tristan's look softens.
"Thank you." he chuckles, feeling around for a fork and a knife before digging into his steak.
(Luc doesn't know that- well, now he does anyways)
Lucas nods, eating his food quietly.
(Lol yeah)
Tristan is quiet too, finishing his steak in a record 5 minutes flat before feeling around for his beer and finishing that too.
Lucas sighs softly, "Sorry. . ." He mumblses, it was clear that the one word never left his mouth often and just saying it made Lucas uncomfortable , but he meant it.
Tristan hums contemplatively.
"It's okay. Just remember, I find that life is funner when everyone is full on good food."
Luv hums, "Hmm. . ." He finishes his food, quiet again
Tristan starts humming to himself quietly before looking at Lucas.
"You good?" he asks.
He looks up, "Yeah." He takes a drink, " Why wouldn't I be? "
"Hmmm. . . the way I looked at you earlier. I may have gone a bit far." he sighs.
"No, you didnt. I shouldn't have done that."
Tristan raises an eyebrow.
"I shouldn't have given you that severe of a look, anyways."
Lucas shrugs, "Sometimes, it takes being. . . Severe, for me to I understand my mistakes."
Tristan tilts his head.
"Even if it's the sort of severe that would get me into trouble if I gave that look to someone else?"
Luc sighs, "I don't care what you do, Tris, as long as it doesn't actually hurt me."
"I care what I do." he retorts softly. "And I went too far."
Luc holds his hands up, "Look,if you hasn't looked at e like tjt, I would t have given your food back when I did."
Tristan huffs. "Just let me apologise, damnit."
