Kaito nodded as he began to eat. "Yeah, it does taste pretty good!" he smiled. "You actually made some pretty good food, Taro. Thank you for this."

“Anything for my sunshine.”

Kaito smiled at the comment. He seemed to enjoy the nickname that the other had given him. It just felt nice to be as close to Rantaro as he was. "You're really sweet, Taro. Really, you are."

“And so are you love,”

"Aww," Kaito smiled softly. "Really though, you're amazing, and I'm so glad to have you in my life. I'm not sure what I'd do without you, so as I said, I am so glad to have you in my life. I haven't said it until now, but I think now's the time to say it. I love you, Rantaro."

“I love you too kaito..” he whispered

Kaito smiled at the response. He knew that the other was going to say that, as he had made his feelings completely obvious by then, but it still felt nice to hear that. It made him incredibly happy to hear Rantaro say that he loved him as well.

"Awww," he said softly. "I'm glad that we have each other."

“Me too sunshine”

"You know, even if I've been asleep for most of it, today's been a good day just because I have you," Kaito smiled softly. It was clear just how much he loved Rantaro from the look on his face. "You really do have a way of making most days better."
