(You too! ^^)
(Hey its the whole gangggg)
(Yeeeee)
"Why of course my sweet." the king responded drunkenly, turning on his heel to face his wife rather than the cupbearers before him " Yours is always the honor to speak. Though I must say, you should have some of this wine. It is quite good." he hiccuped, holding up a goblet of white wine "Yes, the french do make some great wine, if I do say so myself" he hiccuped again and staggered a bit, leaning onto Rowena "Now please be quick, my queen"
Rowena stayed stiff as a statue, even as the king leaned on her. She raised an eyebrow. “Even if we are waging war against them at this moment?” She asked. “You had better not be sympathizing, husband.” It was a half joke, a glimpse of Rowena’s dry humor, but she did not smile as she spoke the words.
“I’m afraid it will take longer than just quick.” Her lip curled slightly. “And I’m not sure if you are sober enough for a long conversation. It is about the meeting earlier. About the amount of men we are sending and how the rest of the country will cope with their absence.”
(Beep)
" No, no sympathy here" King Edric responded "But I know good taste when I-" he took another swig as he leaned on his wife " Taste it." he smacked his lips. His eyes did not stay fixed in one place long, drifting from his glass, to his wife, to his extensive collection of exotic wines stored in the cellar.
Likewise, his mind also did not remain fixed. "… Ah, yes, the meeting." he said, almost solemn for a moment, before returning to his usual foolishness "Seems so long ago doesn't it?" he tapped one of the barrels of wine "Did you know that this barrel has been in the royal family since the time of my great great grandfather?" , this time, his eyes shifted more slyly than usual, almost like he was purposefully changing the subject "That was also quite long ago."
(Really sorry, my brain has not been working)
(it's okay I just wanted to @you incase you forgot)
(no yeah I totally forgot too so thanks aha–)
This was starting to become quite annoying. Rowena scoffed, leaning away from the king as he drank.
“You are not sober enough for this conversation,” she quickly decided, then muttered, “Not even sober at all…”
Still, she tried to make an attempt. “How many men are we sending? How will we compensate for the lack of labor?” She asked.
(Man I forgot about this)
(Yeah, me too)
(Man, i wish this could be alive again)
(Yeah)
(Poke)
I sob
