  • Name: Rune Genesis
  • Gender/Sexuality/Pronouns: male, bisexual, he/him
  • Age: 28
  • Role/Occupation: mostly undecided (for now), but in the past he was a fighter pilot for the Air Force. He is also a great tinkerer.
  • Personality: Rune is a happy-go-lucky fellow who tries to make the best of impossible situations. If you are having a bad day, then he is the guy to go to. He's charming and ultimately wants the best for the people around him. Rune desperately tries to connect with people which often times makes them uncomfortable. Although, he can be quite headstrong and stubborn. If you challenge him to something, he will absolutely follow through on it. His personality has put him in numerous dangerous situations, but it is also what allows him to narrowly evade harm. He has many internal conflicts, which are hard to be seen from his golden retriever exterior.
  • Physical Appearance: Rune has unruly red hair which just seems to never settle. He has a slight amount of stubble which matches his hair. His face is scattered with freckles. His eyes are a cooler, lighter shade of green. Rune normally sports an aviator jacket and pair of baggier pants. He also has a pair of sunglasses that he never seems to part with. He wears worn-out boots, too.
    This may be a better depiction of him : https://pin.it/7wKHY9R
  • Background: Rune and his brother, North, were raised by a single mother. Their father up and left a little after North was born. They were low-income, and it was tough for them to make ends meet. To help support them, Rune picked up some odd jobs. It would range from delivering questionable packages to stealing from the wealthy people he came across. Eventually, Rune met someone who soon became a father figure to him. He was the one who taught him how to fly planes and fix up cars. Cars became one of his most favorite hobbies. This man was extremely important to Rune and made him who he is today. While enlisted in the military, Rune received the news that he had been killed.
    TRIGGER WARNING (substance abuse & mental health issues)!
    Rune took the news harshly and turned to unhealthy coping methods. He used alcohol to make himself feel numb and keep himself from feeling the pain of his death. His mental health began to spiral and he questioned why he should remain on Earth (I'll let you figure out the rest). Obviously, his attempts were unsuccessful and he was able to seek help. He has been sober for quite a long time and would like to keep it that way.
  • Magical Ability (if any): He seems to be quite skilled with machinery, and although he would like to think he has the "magic touch", I don't think he has any ability out of the norm.
  • Extras: N/A

(Also, what's our game plan? Do you guys have anything you wanna add to the (partial) storyline? If not, I can probably come up with something haha)

(umm hmm war i mean uhhhhh well what kind of setting does this take place in?)

Deleted user

(ok, wait I kinda love that idea. An urban city, maybe similar to New York or Chicago, but in the future.)

Deleted user

(did you mean how do the characters meet? also when we start should i write in first or third person, past or present tense)

Deleted user

(I think the characters meet almost accidently, but find out that they have the same goal and then band together. I think first person, present tense would be fun! I don't normally write in first. Also, is the war based off political unrest/outside forces or are we starting the war?)

Deleted user

(if you even want a war, but maybe it has been ongoing (hence military school escapee) and they are benefitting from it (making it easier to duck under the radar))

@Celeste_X0X0_ group

(omg i've only written first person poc once! This is gonna be fun writing Jesse's character in it. :O)
(also im sorry im not good at brainstorming haha. im totally fine with anything!)

(my idea for the beginning of the plot is 1 of them is trying to do,, something i dont know and another accidentally gets in their way or otherwise stumbles across them, another appears, things ensue (whatever happens happens is what i mean lol) and then they realize they have the same intentions etc etc i think itd be funny if it took place in a very public area which could also explain how they came across each other in the first place (such as a bar, a semi-crowded street, resturaunt etc))

@FallenSinAzazel

Name: Willow Term

Gender: male/straight

Age: 20

Looks: (I'll upload a pic of him soon) he's about 5'9"

Background: was left at a church when he was a baby, he started working odd jobs when he was 11 and after some years started working his current job

Job: he tracks and gathers information on targets

Ability: he can change his appearance, height, voice but if someone strikes him the form he takes on is shattered like glass.

Personality: he has trouble trusting, he's seemingly quiet and is very careful because of the origin of his ability. He's very work driven so he doesn't end up back on the streets

(I LOVE that idea. I think we're pretty much good to start, and then we can work out the kinks as we go.)

Twilight had only just begun when I entered the bustling tavern. It's still alive and full of people, although it had not quite reached the dinner crowd. It is the perfect place to people watch, the patrons are always lively and unassuming to my watchful eye. I slid into a booth that had a view of the entire pub, faintly listening to the radio playing in the background. It was detailing the story of the Air Force Bombing, depicting the mass chaos that ensued. I scoff. I recall my days as a pilot, remembering it was I who instigated some of the bombings. There is no way in hell I would go back. To think that pretentious political leaders who have never stepped foot in a war zone are the ones inciting war just for a trivial political gain is beyond me. As I come back to reality, I observe that more individuals are entering the restaurant.

It's loud in the bar, standing in the back and watching. I'm not sure if I like it or hate it. It's a shadier area, so I'm risking it by being here. Cops often bust in. I watch people bustle around, some arguing and yelling or laughing, some hitting on each other. Cyrus'd hate this place. I keep thinking about her, which is likely the reason I sit on one of the bar stools and wait for someone to approach. Glancing around, there're some things she definitely… wouldn't like. Especially if I were here. Stories about the damn war are circulating again, but less like stories and more like word-of-mouth. I'm so sick of hearing about it, could yell over everyone and correct them if I wanted to. They'd probably look at me like I'm some sort of insane ex-soldier, one who'd lost their arm in the war. People always assume that, like I'd step foot on that battlefield. Nope, never. A miracle I made it out of the hell of a school I somehow landed in, those big, high-up men training me like a machine. To say the least, they somewhat succeeded. With that being said, I'm done thinking clearly. I ordered some kind of liquor just now, wasn't paying attention. People-watching is more interesting. Of course, of course some guard always is out front. I want to stick it to 'em, show them how little control they have over us. I shouldn't, though, I don't know if the school's henchmen or whatever they sent when Uran left are still looking for me, if at all. Maybe they want to see how long it'll take for me to get arrested. A drink is slid across to me, I catch it instinctively although I knew it wouldn't fall. It's more of a surprised reaction than instinct by now. The more I stare at the guard the more I want to really make it difficult for them. The more I want something to happen.
