Leila smiles.
"Good. That's sorted. Now, let's get the party started, shall we?"
Leila smiles.
"Good. That's sorted. Now, let's get the party started, shall we?"
(Leila was talking like a normal ten year old this whole time, and suddenly she gained the voice of a middle-aged woman with a British accent /j)
(Honestly, that's a mood XD )
Bane lifted his head up, grinning like a demented beast. “Does this mean we get to kill things?” He asked excitedly, his eyes flickering between colors. He stood up, and stumbled around like a drunk before gaining his balance. Running around on all fours sometime’s makes one shaky on their legs. “And if any of these creatures have a soul, can I play with it?”
"Well, obviously we get to kill stuff. It's no fun otherwise." Leila grins.
Arcturus didn't move, but the metal on his arms and legs began flowing towards his hands, shifting and morphing and forming weapons of various kinds.
"When and where?"
Sutechi muttered something before being quiet again and looking away. He could kill things sure, but he hated killing people for the life of him.
Em sighed as she listened to them talk, "as long as they deserve it."
Bane looked into Leila's eyes, his glimmering like a thousand suns. "I like murder." Says the giant murder puppy. He seemed to be overexcited, wrapping an arm around his new best friend's shoulder. "The "when" should obviously be now. I want to destroy those that hurt others, don't you?" Bane grinned. "We can be murder buddies together. Protectors of the land. Isn't that your cup of tea?" He nodded to the elf, expecting Arcturus to nod along. The big puppy acted like he drank too much alcohol in one sitting.
Leila laughs.
"So, my friends, shall I tell you what our first goal is?"
Arcturus nodded slowly. "Please do." he was still flexing the metal, his energy levels rising as he prepped for a fight.
Nix was not really one to kill, but if someone like Leila told them to, they probably would. Unless, of course, it was more beneficial for them personally not to kill, and usually there was. Perhaps in this case, it would be different. They had relaxed their posture, their tail swaying lazily back and forth as they listened to the conversation.
Bane removed his arm from around Arcturus' shoulders, looking at Leila with entranced curiosity. Was he one to kill? Not inherently. He wouldn't kill the innocent, as he was trying to change his ways, but any villainous people were still fair game for this hound of death. With the flick of his hand, his umbra sword appeared from the darkness, shadows curling off of the blade. "Do tell us about our first goal."
(Cough)
(Lol, I'll try and ressurect this)
(Lol I'm just waiting for the objective to be told)
(Yeah, sorry)
Leilah turns to one of the bookshelves.
"See, we can't just immediately go for the leader. We need to go for the subordinates first. The lieutenants. The generals. We're targeting the first lieutenant."
"Point us in a direction."
Arcturus was buzzing with energy by this point, ready to be released like an arrow at a target. He was fairly sure it would be largely him and Bane doing the actual fighting, since Taeth was reluctant about the whole thing. The others had uses they would find helpful eventually, he was sure.
Emerse cracked her metal knuckles as she heard Arcturus mention about pointing them in a direction.
"Ay, there a plan sides just grab'n a lieutenent?' She spoke as she crossed Her arms across her chest.
Bane’s grip on his sword tightened. He was ready to rumble. He was ready to defend the world. He was ready to kill. “Easy peasy, lemon squeezy.” Thinking about it, he found it rather odd they would go for the lieutenants instead of any minions. But did want to argue with Leila. “Let’s get this over with. How hard can it be?”
Nix watched Leila intently, intrigued, but at the same time felt dwarfed— both literally and figuratively— by these large bodies around them. What power did they have, compared to the others? Why were they even chosen for this? It was a mystery to the goblin. They settled for listening to the unearthly 10 year old, their large ear twitching a little. Hearing of these enemies, this implied army, interested them, though their questions stayed in their mind.
(Cough)
"There is a plan. It's get in, get out and don't die." Leila replies.
She chuckles darkly at Bane's words.
"Very difficult, even for me. 'Don't die' is meant to be a joke; all of us will come close at least once."
Arcturus nodded slowly, having nearly forgotten he was a part of this RP.
"Well, let's get a move on then!" Metal shot from his arms, forming razor cables which twisted and whipped in circles around him.
Bane shrugged as I try to recraft his current identity. “I can’t die. Easy as that. My weaknesses are far and few in between.” He stared at her with a war-ready gaze. He was hardened by years of experience. “I’m a hound of goddamn death. I’m basically a god.”
(sorry 😂)
Sutechi just let out a groan but didn't say anything besides it.
Em was standing in wait for everyone to move out.
Leila smiles a little, and with a click of her fingers and a laugh, a black portal appears in the middle of the room, black mist and smoke curling off of it.
"Well, let's get started, shall we?"
Arcturus dived into the portal, metal spinning around him in a malevolent web. He knew full well he should probably ask questions, get Leila to tell him exactly where they wer going, but at this point…
Let's just get on with it.
Emerse moved into the portal, not exactly wanting to go in headfirst incase she needed to land on her feet quickly.
Sutechi got up from where he was sitting and dusted himself off.
Bane, however, hesitated. The last time he jumped into a portal, he ended up in this massive library with many others. As Arcturus and Emerse jumped into the mist of black smoke, he swallowed his worried and carefully walked into the misty portal. To him, it harbored the same coldness shadow traveling did.
