Akyra rolled her eyes and lifted a finger, raising Ian up to shoulder level with the top shelf.
"Can you see whatever it is you're 'not' looking for?"
Akyra rolled her eyes and lifted a finger, raising Ian up to shoulder level with the top shelf.
"Can you see whatever it is you're 'not' looking for?"
(hiya)
( Great now I have to wait for Sorceress to be on in order to rp.)
(mornin')
Akyra rolled her eyes and lifted a finger, raising Ian up to shoulder level with the top shelf.
"Can you see whatever it is you're 'not' looking for?"
(Sorry got grounded)
Ian yelps but steadies himself, "I keep telling you Im not really looking for anything in particula- Ooo…" He reaches for the very back of the shelf
Akyra floated up next to him. "So what are you reaching for?"
"Here put me down…" He looks down at the ground, choking slightly with the dust. He had pulled something to his chest. It was wrapped in old, mouth-eaten cloth. (What could it be? I didnt think this far ahead)
(a book…? umm… idk)
Akyra lowered them both down. She stumbled forward a bit once her feet hit the ground.
(Good idea)
Ian grabs her arm to help steady her. He walks over to a table and 'drops' the parclle on it. He tilts his head this way and that, "Looks… Like a book?" He tilts it the other way, "No… A gun?"
She blushed when he grabbed her arm. Gah, what is wrong with me?!
She went over to the table and looked at the mystery parcel.
"A book?" Akyra said confused. "Do they even make those anymore?"
(is it ok if I ship these guys…?)
(Haha dont worry I do to…)
Ian sighs, "I dont know… But why would a book be here?"
(rip idk if I can be I this anymore, I'm in too many, sorry.)
"How should I know? You're the one who was reaching up there, why are you so surprised?" Akyra asked incredulously.
"I was just curious. I didnt know what was up there"
"Oookay…" Akyra said, confused. She went back and sat down on the bench, previous events of the day and remaining emotions catching up to her. "So… now what, Ian?"
"Huh?" He was examining the book
"Are you- are you going to tell anyone?" Akyra asked, fidgeting with her sleeves.
"About?"
"My… abilities," she said
"Oh… I forgot about that…"
Akyra snorted. "Okay… are you going to tell anyone, though," she repeated.
"About what." He had trailed off again in thought as he opens the dusty book and waves away the dust
"ABOUT HOW I'M A FREAKIN' HUMAN EXPERIMENT," she snapped impatiently, causing small objects to float around her.
Is he even listening?!?! Does he not realize how worried I am?!?!
"What? Oh sorry." He looks up from the faded writing. He raises a hand, winces and drops it to hover around his stomach
//Pain//
Immediately she rushed over to him, objects falling in her wake.
"Are you ok?! Did you pull a stitch reaching up there?" she asked frantically.
Priorities, Akyra! You need to know if he'll tell!
I know, but he's in pain…
Ian sighs, standing straight, "Nah Im fine… Just pulled it… Its ok…"
Akyra was itching to check the stitches but was too nervous to push it or get closer.
"So… will you?" she asked for the third time, heart racing.
"Ow… Will I what?" Ian pushes back his coat and examines the stitches just in case
She facepalmed.
"Are you even listening?!" she snapped. "You know the worst secret of my life. I am terrified you're going to spill and you're not even paying attention!"
She glared at him, eyes roiling with anger and fear, and wrapped her arms around herself.
