“Eyros!” Raf cried out happily. “I have such a pounding headache, but I haven’t slept like that for years! I had this interesting dream—but now that I think about it.. I can’t tell whether it was a dream or not.”
“Eyros!” Raf cried out happily. “I have such a pounding headache, but I haven’t slept like that for years! I had this interesting dream—but now that I think about it.. I can’t tell whether it was a dream or not.”
Eyros rubbed his throat, looking at the scaring
Raf looked down at his chest, seeing the bullet wound. “So it wasn’t a dream… I’m so sorry..this all my fault :(.”
“ it's not your fault love.” he whispered
Raf reached out for Eyros. “I don’t know.. you can barely talk. Is there any hope that your larynx will heal smoothly? Your dad wasn’t so sure..”
“ I'm not sure..” he said and pulled raf into his arms
Raf looked at the scars on Eyros’ neck, ashamed that they’re there in the first place. He gently kissed Eyros on the neck, making sure not to bother an of his fresh scars. “That doesn’t sound too promising. If I could, I would trade my voice for yours. That way, you wouldnt have to suffer as much.”
“ you cant” he said and nestled into raf “ but you can see doing that”
“I know I can’t. That’s why I said if.” Raf giggled. “You make me feel safe and comfortable.” He curled up on Eyros’ chest. “What are our next plans? I guess continue school and then have the ceremony.. right?”
Eyros nodded and kissed at the others neck softly
Raf giggled at the kisses, moving his neck slightly for Eyros to have more room. He liked the gentle neck kisses, but they made him very ticklish.
Eyros kept going, nipping softly after a moment
Raf made a soft sound only to brake out in laughter. He couldn’t help it. His neck was a very ticklish spot.
Eyros let out a gruff laugh, as best as his vocals would let him
Raf smiled. “I’m sorry. I can’t stop from laughing. My neck is super ticklish.” He took a deep breath. “Is there anything I can do for your throat? I want to help.”
“ cough drops maybe?”
“Alright!” Raf slipped out of bed, stretching his leg and arms. He hadn’t stretched in a while and his muscles felt like jello. His chest was still sore, but he was doing better. Raf bounded into the kitchen, looking through the cabinets for cough drops. He found a small baggie and waddled back to the bedroom. He fished a cough drop out of the bag and gave it to Eyros. “Here. Try this.”
Eyros put one in his mouth and let it sit in his cheek
Raf sat and watched Eyros patiently like an entranced child. "Let me know if it works. I'm curious. I've never had one of these before."
“ they soothe soreness in throats.” he said softly, his voice sounding a bit smoother
Raf sat up straight, amazed. "It sounds like it helped your hoarse voice!" He gave Eyros a big hug. "Would you like to do anything, or do you want to lie around?"
“Laying around sounds nice. “ he said softly
Raf huffed. This werewolf had tons of energy after being stuck in a hospital bed for hours. "Fine— we can lay around, but I might go stretch my legs. I feel like I've been stuffed in a box, don't you?" He was basically bouncing up and down.
“ We can go for a run if you like.”
Raf's face lit up. "Yes, I would like that! I would actually love that! I just hope no more trouble finds us. I could use a good break." He probably shouldn't have said that. He just jinxed the two.
Eyros knocked on their wood door before they left. He took raf out to the woods and shifted
Raf followed Eyros outside, taking in the fresh air. He then shifted and ran across the felid at wind breaking speeds. One lap after another after another after another— you get it. It was like when a puppy got the zoomies and they booked it throughout the house, making a mess.
Eyros went for a bit, noticing his vision start to blur and his steps become ill placed
Then the ground rushes to meet his nose, his vision blacking out seconds before
Raf stopped, looking back at Eyros. He frantically ran over to his mate, licking Euros’ face to keep him awake and going. He put his back under Eyros’ head, trying to give the boy some support.
Eyros was weak, something was seriously wrong
