Raf whimpered. “Go away, Eyros…” He paused, leaning his head against the wall. “I killed her.. I-I didn’t know what I was doing until I saw the blood..”

Eyros kept cleaning raf without listening

“Eyros— please.” He murmured, scratching the hound behind the ears.

Eyros whined softly

Raf wiped the tears from his face, trying to calm himself down. "What is it, Eyros? I'm a monster… I don't think I can show my face ever again."

Eyros shifted and sighed “ if you're a monster then I'm a feared hell-reigning demon “

Raf went silent, tears still running down his face. “B-but I murdered someone.” He hugged Eyros tightly.

“ and I haven't?” he asked

Raf laid his head in the crook of Eyros’ neck. “But I’ve never killed anyone before.” He pulled away from the hug, looking down the hall at the pool of blood.

“ it was an instinct and you acted on it”

Raf frowned. “I guess it was.” He stepped out into the hall, looking at the body. “But I should be able to control myself, not let instincts win.”

“ your instincts are your most important skill.always follow them”

Raf went to investigate the soaked body, looking at her glossy eyes and ripped open throat. “But I don’t good after following them— I just feel guilty and sad.”

“ neither do I but I still do them”

“Then why do them?” Raf tilted his head, shaking it of all thoughts. “I just— I just want to leave.”

“ then lets find dad and go “

Raf wiped the rest of the tears from his eyes. “A-alright…how do you not know where your own dad is? You cant loose him that easily. He literally…appears out of nowhere— okay I get it now.”

Lucifer was right on time, limping into another hallway behind them “ boys!” he sad happily

Raf nearly jumped, letting out a startled scream. “You need to stop doing that!” He turned around. “What happened to you?”

“ your aunt happens to me, but I will recover “

Raf looked down at his feet. "Oh— I'm so sorry… she was an awful person." He smiled. "But at least she's now dead."

“ and now she is living out her punishment in hell”

Raf raised an eyebrow. "And that would be?"

“ none of your business kid..”

Raf huffed and clung to Eyros, laying his head on the hellhound's should. "I'm sleepy" He whispered to Eyros.

Eyros nodded and picked up raf, planning on walking him back to the dorms

“I love you.” Raf murmured. As soon as Eyros picked up Raf, the boy was out like a light. The heart beat in his throat started to slow, turning into a peaceful pulse.

Eyros sighed “ ill see you later dad “ he whispered and left to the dorms

Raf woke up a couple hours later, blinking his eyes open. “Eyros?” He called out, glancing around for his mate. “Eyros?”

“ right here love” eyros said from the bedside
