Isla let out a whimper her arms wrapped around her stomach "my parents were good person you don't know them! "

"So were my parents, and they still died." Reyna says, her voice a scream by the end of the sentence. She wipes furiously at her eyes.

"They were murdered, and I couldn't do anything to save them. . ." she whispers.

"That's not my fault nor my parents! They were good people! "

"That's not my damn problem. What is my problem is that you, a human, have made no move to kill me. Do you wish yourself dead? Or do you really believe you can make peace with monsters? Because one way, you're an idiot. The other way means you're out of your damn mind." Reyna growls.

"Would you rather me kill you then?! What the hell do you want from me! " she was screaming at the top of her lungs not tears rolling down her face as she looked at the monster in front of her

"What I want is to know why the hell you didn't, haven't, tried to kill me!" Reyna screams back.

"Because! I- I don't know! "

"It's because I can speak, isn't it?" she asks bitterly.

"No! I don't want to kill anyone! "

"Then why did you enter the Dungeon?" she glares.

"I didn't have a choice I was being chased! "

"By who? You're a human, why would you be getting hunted?" Reyna asks, still a bit snappish.

"Your kind doesn't trust me because I am human! do you even understand what's going on up there as we speak?! "

"Up where? What are you talking about? What did you do?"

" I didn't do anything! there was a cave full of your kind, the humans… They attacked it, My parents…. "

Reyna pushes past the human, her eyes wide.

No. . . not again. . .

"Wait where are you going?! "

"To the cavern!"

"You'll be killed! "

Reyna growls.

"I don't care."

She continues running.

"Wait stop let me help you!" Isla grabbed her dagger and ran after her

Reyna snarls at the human but doesn't stop her.

Isla raced after her dagger in hand "Reyna! "

Reyna doesn't stop until she reaches the cavern.

When she sees what was in the cavern, she stops.

Isla stopped before running into the girl and peered over her shoulder what she saw made her blood run cold, bodies everywhere humans monsters there were so many it was almost hard to believe "oh my god… Have you ever seen anything like this? "

"Once. . . just once. . ." Reyna whispers.

Isla let out a soft whine as she stared at what lies before them "w-where is everyone are they all dead? "

Reyna turns away sharply, looking at Isla. She pauses, then reaches out to comfort the human. In the end, she knew that this human was different, like herself.

"It was an even battle, I guess. Not a fair one, but an even one."

Isla doesn't move she just stands there and stares at the lifeless bodies that lay scattered on the cavern floor "this never should have happened.. "

"And yet, it has. What will you do?" Reyna murmurs.
