Kokichi shook his head. "I-I'm fine… Just….want cuddles…" he replied, his voice raspy and quiet.

Kokichi shook his head, but he couldn't respond to the other's words since he started coughing as he shook his head.

“ kichi I'm worried!”

Kokichi wanted to respond to the comment and assure the other that he was okay, but he found it difficult to catch his breath and stop coughing.

Kiibo quickly called his father, worried sick

Professor Iidabashi answered quickly. "Oh, hey, Kiibo. What's wrong?" he asked softly. "Is everything okay?"

“ kokichis sick”

Iidabashi nodded as he listened. "That explains the background noise…" he sighed softly. "Humans get sick from time to time, so that's not entirely concerning on its own, so what's going on?"

“ he's running hot and having coffin fits..”

"Fevers are common with illnesses as well, but if you can find a thermometer, it may be a good idea to make sure that his isn't too high," Iidabashi told him. "As for the coughing fits, those can occur, so it mostly depends on the severity."

"They sound pretty bad if I've been hearing one of them in the background the entire time," Iidabashi sighed. "How high is his temperature?"

“ 102.9” he said

"It could be worse, but I'd suggest taking him to see a doctor as it is," Iidabashi replied. "I can still hear him coughing in the background… That can't be good…"

“ I don't think it is..” he whined “ come on kokichi,”

"If you want me to, I'll meet you there, okay?" Iidabashi told Kiibo softly. "I'll be there if you need me."

Kokichi looked up at Kiibo as he finally caught his breath. "Wh-where are we going…?" he asked weakly.

"Why…?" Kokichi asked him. "I-I'm not that sick…"

“ yea you are,” he growled

"Wh-why are you growling…?" Kokichi asked, a bit scared. "I-I…didn't make you hate me…right…?"

“ no, I'm upset because you are refusing help that you need,”

"S-sorry… Lying to avoid worrying people is a habit…" Kokichi explained. "I-if you want the truth…I feel horrible… I-I may need to see a doctor…"

Once they got to the hospital, kiibo took kokichi inside and checked him in

Iidabashi was already there when they arrived. He sighed softly as he saw Kokichi. "Yeah, bringing him here was a good idea…" he stated. "I'm sure a doctor will figure this out soon, but how's his condition now?"

“ I.. I'm not sure.. I just know he's sick..

Iidabashi nodded. "Understandable. You may need to go with him, though. He seems to be more comfortable and open with you around, and he appears a bit scared right now. If he's gonna get help, he needs to be calm and just admit what's wrong. I'm sure that he'll get better, though."

Kiibo nodded and followed his boyfriend to his room, only waiting for the doctor
