“I- I took the blame..” he said and shifted into his hell hound
“I- I took the blame..” he said and shifted into his hell hound
“Eyros..” Raf growled. “You shouldn’t have— don’t take the blame for my faults.” He watched Eyros shift and sighed. “Don’t look at me like that. Come here.”
Eyros hopped onto rafs lap, his ears laid flat against his head. He gave a soft whine.
Raf pet Eyros on his the head, brushing his thumb across the hounds muzzle. “What’s wrong, Eyros?”
Eyros sighed and let off a soft growl, he hated talking about his past
Raf gave the puppy a 'good boy' pat. “Everything will be okay, Eyros.”
Eyros nestled into rafs hand, soon he got up and started walking, expecting raf to follow
Raf gave the hellhound a quick pat before Eyros jumped off the bed. He got up from the bed, both feet on the ground. He became a little dizzy, but it resided, and he followed Eyros.
shift
The thought shot through rafs mind as eyros looked back at him. He knew with the new bond eyros could talk to raf in his head, much like any paired hellhounds could so he was taking advantage of it
Raf heard the thought echo through his mind, wincing at the echo. He shifted into his dusky blonde wolf form. His sides were still sunken in, ribs showing a little less.
Eyros showed him the way once more, except this time he didn't wait for the other to follow, he just ran. Eyros wanted out of the school, out of the torment he's faced for years
Memory of a painful collar and leos laughing figure flooded his mind, subconsciously showing raf how he'd gotten the scars
Raf ran after Eyros, follow behind him. He found it strange that his partner had not waited for him, let alone guide him. He noticed that they were going towards the entrance. This is strange
(I think subconsciously might fit better)
Eyros shook his head, clearly, he wasn't aware of his surroundings as he ran
Raf barked at Eyros. Eyros! Eyros! The wolf was desperate to catch up to the Hellhound. They had gone outside and he’d been chasing him for a good few moments. And then Raf saw it, a cliff. He jumped on top of Eyros, pinning him to the ground, growing at the wolf. Stop it!
Eyros fought under raf, eventually shifting into his human form. His eyes had soaked his cheeks with tears in a matter of seconds, and the hound was sobbing uncontrollably.
Soon eyros’ hazy focus zeroed in on Raphael. He was back to his senses but the memories still stung his mind
Raf started to lick the tears that soaked Eyros’ face, shifting back to his scrawny self. He continued to kiss Eyros on his cheeks and eventually on the lips. “Why did you run out here?”
“ I- I don't know, I was just running, trying to get away..” he whispered, sitting up after a moment
Raf got off of Eyros, looking at his mate with concern. “Get away from what, Eyros? I won’t be able to help you unless you tell me.”
Eyros gave a soft sigh “ when I was younger, Leo was supposed to be my alpha… Our parents had chosen it for us. But Leo did something unforgivable, even by my father's terms. He put a collar on me, and I hated the idea. But when I tried to take it off, it only tightened around my neck. I guess it was made that way..” his hand rubbed at the scars “ only when it started cutting into me did he take it off, and because hell hounds can't really be killed I had to suffer through it. ( I'm doing this way for sake of plot but this is actually eyros’ backstory )
Raf smiled sweetly, pushing Eyros down onto the ground and laying on top of him. "Well— that gives me more of a reason to kill his ass. I don't care if I get in trouble, I'll give him some severe pain." He growled, nestling his head in the hellhound's chest. "And his friends dared to put a collar around your neck while I was there. The audacity of those bitches." He gave Eyros a little kiss on the cheek. "You're my alpha, and he's a dumbass <3."
Eyros laughed softly “ thank you, I love you too,” he said softly and ran his fingers in rafs hair “ now.. Let's actually get you something to eat too”
Raf smiled. "Yes! I want food! Look how thin I am!" And then the werewolf put on a mischievous face. "Why don't we put Leo for breaking the terms and services. People do that, right? That's what a court is." He tilted his head.
He laughed but shook his head “ hell doesn't work like that my love.” he said and shifted into his hound form
Raf's brow furrowed. "Doesn't the afterlife work by trials?" He shifted into his wolf from, the blonde fur another tangled mess. No matter how well it was brushed, it couldn't be tamed.
trails of strength. We fight for the right
he said deeply through rafs head. And trotted to his hunting grounds, once again letting raf have his first hunt before going after a deer
Raf ran off after the scent of rabbit. Well, I would lose. Plus, I don't think I'll get passage regardless. He barked out loud. His barks and growls had scared a burrowing rabbit. Raf ran off after the creature, pouncing on it and snapping its neck. Maybe I'm too violent—that must be what's wrong with me. He trotted back over the clearing proudly, settling down and tearing into the animal.
Eyros brought back a smaller doe, dropping it in front of Raphael and laying around his omega as he did and would for the rest of their lives.
Raf had scarfed down the rabbit in four measly bite. Then tore into the loin of the doe, barely chewing any of the meat. By the time he had finished, a majority of the doe was consumed and Raf looked like a red wolf.
Eyros chuckled, sounding like a deep growl. He licked raf clean as usual and kept the other in a close cuddle. He felt much better around the werewolf
Raf whined, per usual, when he was groomed clean. He laid his head on the hellhound's back. He worried about Leo, about his aunt, about school, and about Eyros. Eyros especially.
