Oh! If this is still very much open Id love to see where you'd put my character! :D
This is Phyphene pronounced fye-feen.
sorry this took me so long! finals week yknow? anyway Phyphene, a member of a custom alien race, belongs in Bailey in the Sky for sure
Role:
It mentioned she was good with crafting and metalworking, so she gets to be a mechanic! Whoohoo! (I assign characters in this role way too much-) I absolutely love mechanic characters, and especially those who are more buildy-engineery than fixy-mechanicy. Either way, she stays on the ship, ready for whenever a repair is needed on board. They have to be quick thinkers, say cool under pressure, and usually be able to fit into smaller spaces for fast fixes. Aside from that, things that tend to follow mechanic characters but aren't required are quick wit and a tendency to hang out in places people don't expect (high in the rafters, hidden in small nooks, etc).
Skill:
Seeing as Phyphene is literally made of gems, it's likely that she would be good at identifying and working the more precious of metals. This gives her a major advantage in criminal and smuggling crews, who would want her on a heist. As for a weapon, I think she would be most comfortable with a small blade, like a paring knife or a switchblade.
Crew:
Again, keeping in mind she would stick with smugglers and criminals, I can see her being a part of the crew of the Rhapsody, a crew run by a small group of teen criminals like the Bailey. Both crews eventually join the Allied Escape Corps to fight the Second Republic. I would guess Phyphene stays with them through this as well.
*Extra Headcanons**
- She's definitely best friends with the weapons expert of the Rhapsody, Keahi
- Mechanics are in high demand in the AEC, so she moves around crews quite a bit after joining
- She would bond with Ten and Diato about not being Earthen
- Her favorite hidey-hole is absolutely on top of shelves and storage units
- She's one of the few to stay back on Xi-reyna to defend it during the final Battle for the Senate
Hope you enjoyed! Thanks for submitting!

Name: Anastasia Barlow
Age: 18
Personality: Ana is workaholic. She was thrown into the position of queen when she was very young and without any training so she has felt like she has to catch up ever since. She has a powerful thirst for justice and may act irrationally in order to make things fair. She was raised in a very traditional kingdom, AKA, women are very feminine and gentle and men are tough and masculine. She wants to be the traditional gentle queen but she is just not like that at all. She is very assertive, stubborn, and judgemental. This basically makes her feel really bad that she can't live up to the feminine a queen her mother was. This also sucks because she's a perfectionist. (Guess what her character arch is? Ding, ding, ding! It's self-acceptance and breaking social norms.) She can come off like she has a stick up her ass but she's basically a burnt-out gifted kid who's always stressed out mixed with one of those people who say they're a "realist" instead of admitting they're a pessimist.
Likes: Sword fighting with her brother (only in private), getting petty revenge, making the civilians happy, warm baths, festivals, people that are very confident and playful, her mother's dresses
Dislikes: Rebels, no organization, bitter foods, anything unconventional
Appearance: Ana is a black woman with curly, black, collarbone-length hair and dark brown eyes. She has a roundish baby face with upturned eyes and a lanky figure. She's 5'8.
Fun Facts: She was pretty much friendless as a kid because her only sort of friend grew up and became her enemy, she's very protective over her brother even though he is a literal knight, she overanalyzes every situation, her love interest is a cocky con-artist who expects everyone to bow down to her.
