Dean rolled his eyes, putting in headphones and trying to get some sleep. His mind wouldn't let him be, the things Gabriel had said made images in his mind that he never wanted.
Hours passed, around 8:30 he got up, heading for the shower.once he'd taken about ten minutes in the shower he came out, his hair a fluffy mess as he brushed it back into a pony.
The towel around his waist covered him but didn't cover his upper body that was covered in tattoos. Some were roses, others were shards of glass. There was a pistol on his left peck and a bottle on the right. His wrist had three bold lines all the way around.
"Oh? Shortys got tats." He whispered as he opened the door to their room. He was out with his friends at a bar, celebrating that they had all made it to the next year. Some of his friends were not that bright, so it was a big accomplishment. It was also an excuse to go out and have some drinks. "Gotta say you're not just cute. You're hot too. Still annoying, though. Your personality sucks." Gabriel put his wallet into his drawer. He then started stripping down his clothes to put on some fresh ones for bed. He put his clothes into a hamper beside his bed and looked through his other drawers for shorts and a loose t-shirt. Like most of his friends, he didn't like sleeping in his underwear. He put on his shorts and a shirt and sat on the edge of his bed, looking at his phone for a while. "When did you get those? And why?"
" nunya and nunya fucking business. " He retired and put on a pair of shorts. He wasn't one to open up easy. Especially to the man that made his life hell.
Dean sat on his bed. Grabbing his violin and opening the case. He tune checked and started to play softly, putting his heart into the song
"Ouch…." He winced and leaned back on his palms. "Got hit with the nunya. Sadly, it wasn't very affected. I was thinking about getting my tattoo. Yours seemed pretty crisp and clean, so I figured it must be a good place that you got them from. Forgive me for prying." He threw his hands up in surrender. He stood up and looked in the kitchen for any food. He grabbed some cookies and took them back to his bed. "I'll buy groceries next time. It would help if you loosened up more. Not everyone in the world is out to get you." He shrugged his should, plopped on the bed, and started looking on the phone for tattoo places.
He stopped playing for a moment " most I did. But the ones on my chest my mother did. But she's gone now. The ones on my wrist I let my little sister do. And she's with my mother." Dean's voice cracked as the thought he kept down pained his heart. " I could do it for you." He offered
"Really?!" Gabriel sat up in his bed. "That would be sick!" He finished the last of his cookie. "I saw the art stuff in your drawer, you must be pretty good if you have all of that stuff." Gabriel stood up and showed Dean his phone. "Here, this is the one I want. I know it's really big, but I want it on my back. I think it looks cool. Of course, you don't have to if it's too much. I could always suggest something smaller." The tattoo he showed was of a Chinese dragon curled and twisted on the back with smoke and winds surrounding the white space. "Do you think this could work?"
(This is super random but she's not coming back for a little while)
(Yeah her parents found out about her account and took everything away.)
(Ahhh yes I know that feeling well, I’m just glad that she not like in danger or something happened to her. Thanks for telling me!)
(Yeah no problem glad I could help.)
" yeah I can do that, give me about a day to trace it on tacer paper and get some ink and needles from Amazon "
" yeah I can do that, give me about a day to trace it on tacer paper and get some ink and needles from Amazon "
"Sick dude! Thanks!" He stood up straight and started to undress. He threw his clothes on his side of the room. He was wearing only his underwear before sliding under his bed sheets. He leaned on his forearms and scrolled through his phone. He looked at the lamp in between them, giving him the only light the two had. "Hey, uh, do you mind if I turn this off? I'd rather read on my phone in the dark. It helps me focus." He opened ao3 on his phone and continued to search up his desired fanfic. He turned his brightness down so the light wouldn't be blinding.
Dean flushed red at the sight of Gabriel undressing " y..yeah.." he said greatfull for the opportunity to not show his flustered face. He laid down and got comfortable by curling around a body pillow
(I am backeth from my vacation! Sorry for the wait!)
"Was that a stutter I heard? I'm glad I can make even you stumble on your words like that. Just goes to show. I still to it." After a couple of hours of reading, he decided it was time to give his mind a rest. Tomorrow his stuff would be coming in, meaning he gets to make bland apartments into something more his style. This means he gets to stream tomorrow too. He chucked to himself as he adjusted himself onto his side. He stopped for a second, seeing Dean's face towards him, curled up with a pillow. I wish that was me…wait, what! Dude, no, gross…Okay, but like I'm touched deprived! He shook his head before finallyfalling asleep.
Dean slept through the night, though he would wake from nightmares. At one point he woke up with tears
“ fucking hell” he said and tried to calm down. He was shaking violently the next time he jerked from sleep when his alarm went off. He shut it off quickly and hopped in the shower.
Dean took damn near boiling showers, he liked it that way though. Dean came from Florida, which means the heat rarely affected him
Gabriel woke up from the alarm and watched Dean make his way to the bathroom. "Who the hell wakes up this early in the morning?" He mumbled before putting his face back into the pillows. Sadly enough, he couldn't go back to sleep. He sat up, rubbing his eyes and yawning. He stood up and slipped on some sweatpants before making his bed. He would clean himself up when Dean got out of the shower. He looked in the kitchen and sighed when he realized no one had food. "I guess I'll go grocery shopping." He threw on a random t-shirt from his drawer and left a note saying he would get food for the apartment. With that, he was off to the grocery.
Dean was actually going out today, he had to meet up with the football team. He was supposed to be the new captain
Dean was met with a less than warm welcome but it didn't honestly bother him, right now he just needed to guide the team
When Gabriel got back, he noticed Dean was gone. He dropped the bags on the floor. He scoffed. "Did he seriously leave without eating anything? His loss. I make a mean omelet." He put all the groceries away, making the kitchen look like an actual kitchen. He put his hands on his hopes appreciating his work. "Better get to cooking." He pulled out the eggs and began to cook his omelet. He got a notification on his phone saying his stuff would be here soon. He smiled and finished his omelet and ate it pretty quickly. Just like that, his stuff came in. He let the movers in to move the boxes. Once they were done, he started unpacking and putting everything where it belonged. He had to rebuild his desk, but it wasn't that hard to build. Once he did, he had his gaming set stationed in the corner of the room right next to his bed. By the time his half of the room looked less dull, it was time for lunch. This means he got to cook again. Man, did he love cooking.
Dean got back moments after Gabriel started cooking again. He was dog tired and looked over at his boxes, and decided not to unpack, then he went to the kitchen and wrapped his arms Around Gabriel in a kinda support hug. Right now he was stressed to a max ad it was clear “ say anything and ill stab you”
Gabriel sucked in his stomach out of surprise. He opened his mouth to say something but shut it since he was instructed to. Instead, he kept cooking and breathed a laugh. "You left this morning without eating anything. You should be more responsible, you know. I'm making pork cutlets. Is that okay with you, or should I cook something else?" He took the knife and chopped some fruits and vegetables for side dishes. He held a soft smile on his lips. He had to say Dean standing behind him like this wasn't that bad. If anything, it felt nice and warm if he were being honest.
“ as long as it doesn't touch potatoes or chicken you won't kill me” he said and sighed, letting go of Gabrial he groaned as he realized most of the food had already touched vegetables he was allergic to.
"Why are you allergic or something?" He scoffed. "Wait, what are you allergic to? I'd rather not kill my roommate before school even starts. He frowned when he felt Dean let go. Of course, he didn't say anything. It's not like they were dating or anything. He put down the knife and washed his hands so that Dean wouldn't get an allergic reaction if he touched anything.
“ Most vegetables, watermelon, and chicken is all that I know of..” he said and noticed Gabriel's emotion and went back to hugging him,
He gave a small smile when Dean put his arms back around him. "Oh, okay, I was worried." He put the cut vegetables in a container for him to eat tomorrow. He didn't buy watermelon, so it shouldn't be a problem. "Alright, that should take care of that. Everything else is safe for you to eat. If you don't like anything just give it to me and I'll eat it. I need some fuel before I start streaming anyway. Tell me if I'm being too loud by the way and I'll quiet down." He set the plates on the table as well as the condiments. He turned around and dropped his arms over Dean to hug him. "Ready to eat?"
“ yeah, it looks amazing btw.” he said and chuckled “ I have to practice as well, I have a concert tomorrow tonight. “ he said softy
