Her face turned red immediately after he said that and she put her head down "oh… Heh I didn't know that. "

“It's ok.” he assured her as he stood up. Though he couldn't help thinking that even her blush was cute.

She stood up as well and hopped out of the tinny car

Marcus got out of his car stretching little and offered his hand to help, if she needed it.

She smiled and took his hand "thank you kind sir"

“You're welcome, my lady.” he grinned back.

She stepped out holding onto his hand smiling back at him

Marcus held her hand and walked her off the track. “So, you never answered my question. Did you have fun?”

"Oh right sorry about that yes I did thank ypu. "

“I’m glad. You… looked a little nervous at the start.”

"Yeahhh I was not having a good time at first"

“I noticed.” he nodded. “Maybe you should continue to pick what we do since you're not used to what I've been picking.” he suggested, thinking about how uncomfortable she had been with the roller coaster and unfamiliar with the bumper cars.

"I guess I don't want you to think I'm not having a good time at all I'm really glad that you brought me here I guess I just like a slow pace if that makes any sense at all? "

He nodded again. “It makes sense.” he assured. “I grew up around this kinda stuff so I'm more used to the fast paced games and rides. But we can take it slow if that's what you're comfortable with.”

(We're just gonna pretend that the bear didn't stop existing for the bumper cars XD)

"What about that thing can we try that? " marie looks up and points at the Ferris wheel As she clinged to her bear that both her and Marcus had won

(ok. Chances are the bumper car operator would have held on to it, along with other people's belongings so that they wouldn't get dropped or run over.)

“Sure.” he smiled at her. “One of the most popular rides at any fair. And it should be slow enough.” he added.

(Oh right I completely forgot about that I haven't been to a carnival in years lol)

Maria smiled brightly as she gave Marcus's hand a light squeeze "okay then let's go there then"

(tbh, it's been a long time since I've been to one too)

“Alright.” Marcus beamed, rubbing his thumb across her knuckles at her gesture as he started leading her towards the Ferris wheel.

She smiled as she started to skip a little bit and she looked over at Marcus "what exactly is that thing supposed to do?"

(It’s ok. I think it happens sometimes.)

“It's just a big wheel, really.” he shrugged, smiling at her. “You sit down in a kind of carriage/basket and it just takes you in a big circle. But it goes at a nice slow relaxing pace.” he added.

"Oh, " she spoke softly seeming relieved to hear that "I think that is exactly what I need.."

“Good.” he nodded, acknowledging her reaction. “And the height doesn't bother you?” he asked just to be sure.

"I don't think it should I just wasn't a fan of that roller coaster I guess even though I like to go fast" she smiled a little bit and leaned her head against his arm as they walked

“That's fine.” he assured, blushing a little when she leaned against him. But he didn't really mind and did nothing to dissuade her. “Roller coasters aren't for everyone.”

"But I love to go fast I don't see the issue with it ya know?? It would make since if I liked them."

Marcus gave a thoughtful hum and shrugged the shoulder she wasn't laying on. “Maybe it's something to do with the fact that you're not in control of the ride?” he suggested. “When you go fast, it's your decision. But the roller coaster… You're just there for the ride.”

"Yeah I guess so I kind of want to try it again at some point while I'm in America because I didn't exactly hate it just wasn't expecting it." She said laughing a little

“Alright.” he smiled. “We can definitely try it again sometime.” he agreed.
