“Maybe another time.” he smiled as he accepted the helmet. “It's a little late right now. And I think I hear my bed calling me.” he chuckled.
“Maybe another time.” he smiled as he accepted the helmet. “It's a little late right now. And I think I hear my bed calling me.” he chuckled.
"I never really noticed the time I think my phone died" she said laughing "I can definitely hear mine. "
“It's alright. I haven't looked at my phone since I sat down at the restaurant.” he laughed with her. “You go ahead and get some sleep. I’ll see you tomorrow.”
"Alright have a good night Marcus and thank you again for today. "
“You too, Maria.” he smiled. “And thank you for tonight.”
She smiled giving him a wave before heading up the steps to her front door
Marcus waved back and waited until she was inside before driving home.
Maria walked inside discarding her shoe's and her bag at the door and flopping on the big bed in her room "holy shit when I get back to London I need a new bed. "
Marcus drove back to his place, parked his bike, and practically collapsed on his bed as soon as he took off his shoes. But he was smiling the whole time. It had been a long time since he had so much fun. And with such a pretty girl.
(Awe🥰)
She hadn't even bothered to change her clothes somehow they still smelt like him and that somehow made a soft giggle escape Maria's lips and she looked up at the ceiling
Marcus sighed happily and just laid there for a few moments before forcing himself up and changing into something more comfortable for the night.
She didn't really have to change her clothes but she decided it would be better than sleeping in a dress that still had a little sand in it she got dressed and hooped back into that amazingly comfortable bed
Marcus was still smiling as he climbed back into bed, now in a fresh pair of PJs. For some reason, even as he slowly drifted off, he couldn't get Maria out of his head.
Maria did the same strangely couldn't stop thinking about Marcus as she fell asleep
The next morning, though he slept well, he woke up in his usual haze and stumbled to the kitchen to make a strong pot of coffee.
Maria woke up feeling pretty damn good for staying up so late and got up to go see the view in her living room window
With the caffeine slowly kicking in, Marcus started smiling again as he remembered Maria and the night he had with her. And the fact that he was going to be meeting her again today.
(I can't he's too adorable lol)
She sat in a chair admireing the view it reminded her of Marcus when he brought them to the beach and she danced with her in the water
(I’m glad you like him! 😊 This is the first time I get to use this character in a romantic way.)
Finally, fully awake, Marcus got dressed and headed back down to the beach. There wasn't a whole lot of people there yet so it gave him a good opportunity to get some hours in for his volunteer group and clean at least a section of the beach.
(I absolutely love him🥰)
Maria kinda wanted to buy a few new clothes at the store considering she only bought enough clothes to last a week and she was going to be there all summer so she go dressed in a cute pair of denim shorts and a white tank top that was tucked Into her pants and decided to throw a shawl over it to add a little bit of color
(😁 I’m so glad!!! Maria is an amazing character too!)
Marcus may not have been an expert in fashion or style but he was particularly proud of the ”Professional Beach Hunk” sleeveless t-shirt that he was wearing along with some swim trunks, in case he needed to get in the water to retrieve something.
(Aw thank you 🥰)
Maria was wondering all over the place going store to store eventually she went to a market and picked up a few things there before taking everything back to her temporary home
(Np ❤️)
Marcus actually ran into a couple of his friends and got to hang out with them for a few hours as he worked. It wasn't an uncommon occurrence but it was still refreshing for him.
(What to do a time skip?)
Maria spent most of her day lounging around her bungalow sitting outside so she could enjoy the breeze and the sun
(getting there 😉)
Marcus nearly lost track of time before running home to get ready for… Did this actually count as a date? He clearly remembered asking if she wanted to hang out with him today, but did he use the word “date”? He couldn't remember.
He quickly cleaned up and changed into something more comfortable than last night but still nice and headed over to where Maria was staying.
Maria kept on her same clothes seeing them as cute enough for a date she really only had to touch up he makeup as she waited for Marcus to show up
Considering the, once again, beautiful weather, Marcus took his motorcycle so his arrival was hard to miss. He parked in front and was both surprised and relieved that he wasn't late as he turned off the engine and walked up to her door with a small bouquet of flowers in his hand.
Maria was just finishing up when she heard Marcus pull up which gave her butterfly's she smirked and hurried to the door with her shawl wrapped around her she wasn't wearing a lot of makeup a light blush lip gloss and some eye shadow she opened the door excitedly seeing Marcus at the door "Marcus Hi! Your a little early. "
Marcus smiled back when Maria opened the door. “I am? I was worried I was running a little late.” he admitted with a soft laugh. “I can wait if you're not ready yet. Oh, and I brought you these.” he offered as he remembered the flowers, holding them out to her.
"Oh no I just finished getting ready. " she paused when she saw the flowers " oh my god their beautiful Marcus thank you! " she grabbed the gently admiring them "no one's ever gotten me flowers before this is so sweet. "
