"Well thank you, that's sweet. "
"Well thank you, that's sweet. "
“No problem.” he smiled, assuring as he was being sincere too.
She smiled at him "oh my I'm sorry I forgot I was laying on you! " she slipped off of him and onto the floor
“Oh, don't worry. You weren't bothering me.” he smiled.
"Ah are you sure? "
“Yeah. I can carry you without a problem, you laying on me doesn't weigh enough to bother me.” he assured her.
"Well that's good I guess I am a bit small.. " she glanced down at her figure and bit her lip
“And I'm a big guy who works out quite a bit.” he smirked playfully. “We make quite a pair.”
"You think so? " she asked matching his smirk
“Why not? It's possible, isn't it?” he shrugged.
"Yes it is. "
Marcus smiled softly at the agreement. “And we already have a date planned for tomorrow.” he reminded her.
"Yes that's true. " she said laughing
“I hope you enjoy tomorrow as much as you've enjoyed tonight.” he smiled back.
"I'm sure I will. " she said smiling back at him
“Good. I certainly hope so.” he chuckled. “Would you like me to take you home now?”
"If you'd like. " she looked up at him with a small smile
“I feel like I should.” he shrugged. “I’ve probably kept you out late enough for tonight.”
"I'm kind of a night owl but it wouldn't hurt to go back.. "
“That's fair.” he nodded, carefully wrapping his arms around her and slowly stood up. “I have nights when I can stay up all night and some days where I'm an early bird.”
She stood up with him blushing a little at his arms "yeah that's kinda how I am I think. "
Marcus gently helped her back onto her feet and slowly let go. “It's a struggle sometimes, isn't it?” he chuckled.
"I rather enjoy it at times, thank you.. "
“You're welcome.” he smiled softly before heading back towards where he parked his bike. “I mean, it definitely has benefits to both sides. But when they crash, like you stayed up late last night but you wake up early… Oof. Better get the coffee.”
"Oh god yeah I know those mornings sadly." She walked after him back through the beach looking at the ocean with a smile
“Hopefully we don't have one of those tomorrow.” he quipped, walking beside her.
"I don't think we will. "
“That's a relief.” he chuckled, still hoping that neither of them would have a rough morning.
"But if we do that's why coffee exists. " she said smiling
Marcus couldn't help but laugh at her reply and nodded. “That's very true. Because, I have to admit, I’m practically a zombie if I don't have a couple cups of coffee in the morning.”
