“Alright. That's fair.” he nodded.
“Alright. That's fair.” he nodded.
"Okay how much are we giving him? "
“Umm… I usually try to give at least five to ten percent.” he admitted, looking at the check and handing over his card.
Alright sounds good. " Maria grabbed her bag and started looking for her money
Marcus finished his drink and took out some cash for his half of the tip.
She grabbed a wad of cash and counted it before handing over the money to Marcus "here this should be enough. "
“Yeah, that should be good.” he nodded, putting their cash together and setting it on the table. “You ready?”
"Yep lead the way. " she had a wide smile across her face as she stood up from the table
Marcus stood up with her, picked up a leather jacket that he had brought in with him, and walked out of the little underground building. “Hey, quick question… Have you ever been on a motorcycle before?”
"No…. Why? " she arched her brown at him as they walked out side
“Well, I did mention that this place is… a bit of a walk away from the beach.” he said, rubbing the back of his neck. “But it's still nice out so I did think we’d need a car.”
"We're taking a bike? " she was smiling a bit she looked like an excited kid
“If you're up for it.” he smiled back as he walked towards his motorcycle. It wasn't anything too fancy with a simple plain black paint job and in good condition.
"Um hell yeah I'm up for it ive got my own bike back in London so I'm not scared of this one. "
“I thought you said you've never been on a motorcycle before.” he smirked, raising a brow as he picked up a helmet.
"Well I have a Yamaha FZ09 And a ninja H2…." she gave a mischievous grin walking up next to him
“You sneak.” he chuckled, holding out the helmet for her. “You ready?”
"She grabbed the helmet and put it on. " hell yeah I am. "
“Alright.” Marcus grinned and hopped on his bike, starting it up. “Get on and hold on tight.”
Maria hopped on the back of the bike and wrapped her arms around Marcus's waist with a smile on her face she smiled brighter knowing the visor was covering her face
Marcus smiled, feeling his face heat up at her touch, and started driving towards the beach.
She held on a little tighter once he started driving she'd never really been the passenger on a bike so it took her by surprise
“You ok?” he called back when he felt her grip tighten.
"Yeah I guess I'm just not used to being on the back of one of these. " she called back laughing a little
“Ok.” he laughed with her, still keeping his eyes on the road and driving safely. A little fast but still safe.
She made herself comfortable on the back of the bike looking at the scenery in awe
Marcus smiled and continued to drive. The night was beautiful and cool but not too much to discourage swimming as the crisp salty scent of the ocean grew.
"Do do you have any plans when we get to the water?" She looked up at him from the back of the bike
“Not really.” he admitted. “I was thinking about just taking a walk, maybe show you around and if you want, we could go for a little swim.” he offered.
"Swimming sounds amazing actually your just full of good ideas aren't you? "
