(Pfft, maybe. And it's fine, there really isn't much else to say besides that. :)

Garnet had no idea how quickly Emery would make their way to the Mercy Church, but he figured he might as well be there as soon as possible. If nothing else, it would give him some time to try and figure out exactly what he would say. He wove through the streets at a steady pace and got to the Mercy Church in record time.
The plaza in front of the Mercy Church was packed with people. That probably meant that Gerry's Food and Drink was in there, which was exactly what he'd hoped. Gerry always gave him a meal for free, which he appreciated greatly. Her food always filled him up for an entire day and that was always very helpful.
