"What could I possibly be overwhelmed with?" Isaac spat. He takes the herbs Haze was offering him and swallows them. He hugs the boy and kisses him. Thank goodness for Haze and his herbal medicine. He might have been stuck in this daze for eternity. Now it was only going to be for a few more minutes.
“ human emotion? You said you've never felt it before “
Isaac freezes, and his mind starts to cloud with troubling thoughts. Am I becoming human? "Yes, I have never felt emotion this extreme." His breathing became smoother, and he clings to Haze. As far as he was concerned, Haze was now his safety blanket.
“I love you, my little demon”
"I—" Isaac hesitates. "I-I love you too, you silly human." The words tingle on his tongue. He's never said anything like that before—and then it hit him. "Little! I'm not small!" He huffs with a little smile. "You're the small one. I'm your tall demon. You are my little human." His smile continues to grow larger and larger. One could possibly call him adorable.
Haze started to giggle before laughing, holding his chest “ five whole fucking minutes for you to realise
Isaac blinks, and then his face grows red from embarrassment. "I—you—this—YOU LITTLE BASTARD!" He pouts like a small child. He would cross his arms if they weren't wrapped around Haze.
Haze chuckled and nipped his neck
"This is not a funny situation, chère. I am not small. You are." He leans into Haze, still trying to act like he's actually mad.
“ awe poor baby~” he teased and nipped issacs neck a bit harder
Isaac lets out a small noise and smiles. "Yes, I am very much a poor baby." More emotions fill his stomach, and he leans his head on Haze's shoulder.
“ you alright?”
"I am perfectly alright, just resting my head." he nuzzles into Haze's neck and closes his eyes. The afternoon sun felt warm on his skin, making him feel drowsy—like a cat. The sun had to go down soon, didn't it?
“ it's almost dark love, are you wanting to come with?”
"Of course. Your protection is my utmost duty. I thrive better at night anyway, your sun does strange things to me." He yawns and lifts his head up. "I am hoping nothing bad happens"
“ me too, I think lust would fuck us both up..”
Isaac shoots straight up, his eyes wary. "Who told you about him? He's extremely dangerous! He just second to my king—wrath. He would murder us or make us his puppets." Isaac swallows hard, his nerves making his body fidget.
Haze yelped at the sudden movement as it shot pain through his body “ it's in the books,” he whimpers “ I know the sins I just don't know what they look like..”
"I-I'm sorry. He makes me nervous. There are other demons just as bad as us sins. They usually appear before the sin does, or they'll show up in little groups." He stops his body from fidgeting, taking a deep breath.
“Please stop moving.” he held his bruised side
Isaac ceases all motion, looking at Haze with eyes of worry. "Mon chère! Are you alright!? Where did I hurt you?" he puts his hand on Haze's and slowly removes it, looking at the damage. Isaac makes a noise of alarm. "I'm sorry, bien-aimé."
“ Estoy bien, mis costados me matan cada vez que te mueves rápido“ his tongue switched as he tried to ignore the new found pain
Isaac tilts his head in confusion. "I—I don't know what you just said. I don't speak nor understand… what did you call it? Spanish."
“It hurts, really bad when you move too fast”
Isaac looks away, his eyes glossy and untrained on a wall. He frowns and comes to know guilt. He didn't mean to hurt Haze. Isaac came to terms he loved him, and he wouldn't want to hurt a person he loved. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you," he says in a low voice.
“ it's alright” he whispered and leaned against the other
Isaac runs his fingers through Haze’s hair, pulling him in for a hug. “I don’t know if I wasn’t you going out with all these injuries. I don’t want you to get hurt further.”
“ I'll be fine so long as nothing hits my cheek to gash it back open..”
Isaac runs his fingers across the gash with the stitches. "I swear if something does harm you, they'll be sliced open by my sword!"
Haze winces at the touch, pulling away a bit
