"So what about you? Do you have anyone at home?"

" no. I've been on the road a bit, but I'm thinking about settling here.."

"Oh well, it's a nice place to do it. it's pretty peaceful in this part of the city." Alex said, laying on the other end of the couch.

neva chuckled, " so anything else i should know?"

"There's an amazing restaurant not to far from here. You should definitely try it sometime, but other than that, I don't think there's much to do."

" then lets go, you and me"

"Really? Its a Mexican place we can walk there. it's probably only 15 minutes up the road. " Alex replied excitedly.

"yes really!" she got up and waited for the other girl

Alex stood up and opened the door for neva. "After you," she said, smiling.

neva walked out, giggling an smiling

Alex walked out of the house , locked the door, and started walking towards the small gate in the front yard. "It's not to far you okay with walking, right?" Asked Alex.

" yeah! im fine with walking, do it all the time"

"Okay, great," Alex said, smiling as she opened the gate and walked out of the yard . "I think you're really going to like this place. I used to go here a lot before I wentbackto work."

" i trust you" she said and smiled

"I'm glad to hear it." A few minutes later, they arrived at a fancy building. " I think we're here, but it doesn't look the same as it did the last time I was here." Alex said, staring at the restaurant.

"renovations?"

"Maybe." Alex walked up to the building and walked inside, holding the door for neva. "It mostly looks the same in here."

neva walked in and looked around

"I'll get us a table." Alex walked up to the hostess booth. " Hi table for 2, please." Alex smiled at the lady. The lady brought the girls to a small table with two chairs in front of a window in the corner of the building.

" this place is beautiful," she said softly and looked at the menu

"It really is," Alex says, smiling.

as they order neva can't help but glance up at alex and smile. the blush on her cheeks was clear with no makeup.

After the waitress walks away, Alex looks at neva and laughs to herself, " You're blushing." said Alex with a teasing grin.

neva jumped a bit "ahm! s..sorry!" she said and covered her face with her hands

"It's okay. I thought it was cute." She said, trying to hold back her laughter.

neva lowered her hands and smiled.

"So, why were you blushing?" Alex asked, smirking.
