(Huh, fair enough…)
(Actually, Mardicos seems like the type to absolutely hate Lucitius's guts, though. And then Goldergon, lol. No explanation needed. Malcolm.)

(Nyx, for one. But that comes as no surprise to anybody. He hates every living thing, but since Goldergon ain't technically alive, and because Nyx appears to simply like Goldergon, he doesn't count, lol. I think that some others of the oldies at the very least barely tolerated Lucitius.)

"Why not? It got someone's attention, obviously." Qûs'ÿltn retorts.

Farah's fingers flexed in what she hoped was a threatening motion. With the capacity she had for magic, the demigod should be scared. "You don't want my attention."

Qûs'ÿltn watches Farah's motion, then chuckles.

"Whyever not? Should I be scared? 'Oh no! Please, don't hurt me! I'll do anything!'" he mocks.

"Do I seem the type to do what I'm told, little faerie?" Qûs'ÿltn says, finally landing on the ground of his own accord. His form shifts, and Farah is staring at a handsome Faerie male, with a strong jaw, bright, pure white eyes and long, straight, black hair.

Grinning, Qûs'ÿltn says "See? I knew you could get that much, at least."

"'Impressive', huh? Tell me, little Faerie, why is it just 'impressive'?" he snarks.

Qûs'ÿltn's new nickname for Farah made her irritated. She was not a "little faerie." With a snide remark in her tone, she arched her eyebrows and shot back, "It's barely that. What are you using? Light magic? Please."

Deleted user

Qûs'ÿltn snorts. "Light magic? Dear gods, woman. You are dense. No, it is not light magic. It is true physical transmogrification on a level that you little Faeries can't even hope to achieve."

Farah nearly let her emotions get the best of her then. It took intense effort on her part to keep them contained. "Stop antagonizing me. I'm not the ditz you're making me out to be. I'm not dense!"

Deleted user

"Why should I?" Qûs'ÿltn retorts, truly curious.

"It is not as if it really matters what I call you, anyways. Dense or no, you will never be my equal." he adds.

Farah looked away from him, knowing if she maintained the intense eye contact, she wouldn't be able to control her anger. She felt her power blossoming at her fingertips, but again, she held it back. "Please stop…" she whispered, pressing her palm against the rough bark of a tree beside her.

A loud laugh escapes Qûs'ÿltn. "Why? You don't think I can take it? I got news for you, girlie: I've survived worse than you. I'll be fine."

Deleted user

Shrugging, Qûs'ÿltn backs off for once. "Okay."

Stepping away, he doesn't drop his guise of the Faerie warrior. He merely watches Farah, silent.

Farah took deep breaths, expending energy into the tree and back into the land. Eventually, she calmed down and looked at him again. "Why?" she asked, shaking her head.

Qûs'ÿltn nods. "Sure as shit. Except-" he looks around. "The only true audience I have is you. The spirits left as soon as I came down."

Deleted user

"Why would that be best? You seem to have exceptional control over yourself, despite all my attempts to make you lash out. I figure we're both safe out here." Qûs'ÿltn chuckles.
