Nyx walked to his house and continued writing his story. He fell asleep on his desk.

asra woke early, patently waitin for nyx

Nyx got to Asra's door and knocked waiting for and answer.

asra happily answer " hey," he said and looked up at the other

Nyx looked down at the small human. "C'mon we are heading to my place. I have a lot of baking supplies."

"alright!" he said and wrapped the coat nyx had given him last night closer to his body

"You can keep the coat. I have a million others at home." Nyx reassured the human. They walked about 3 blocks away and stopped at a small old torn up house in the shadow of other bigger houses. Nyx opened the door for Asra. Inside there was a couple of pictures on the walls and a desk with a mess of papers on it. There was a kitchen that was well kept and a bedroom.

" woah.." asra said and looked around

"Ah it's not much. But it's home." Nyx stated a bit embaressed about the mess on his desk.

" its bigger then mine!" he said and twirled as he tried to look at everything

"Well my grandfather built this a long time ago so it's pretty old." Nyx lied.

" so, that cake?" he asked and smirked

"Oh yea I have one of the best cake recipes but first you can take off your coat." Nyx told Asra as they put on a black apron to get ready to bake.

asra slipped the coat off and helped nyx

"Ok so first we mix the dry ingredients. So 1 1/2 cups of flour 1 cup of sugar and 2 teaspoons of salt in this bowl." Nyx instructed helping Asra get the right measurements.

asra would flush a bit everytime their hands touched or if he got too close to nyx " right right.." he said as he tried his best

"Next the wet ingredients, 2 eggs 3 cups of milk and 1 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla extract. You can get the eggs right Asra?" Nyx instructed getting the vanilla extract out from the top of a high shelf.

" yup." he said and grabbed the eggs

Nyx put the extract in and then added a little bit more. "More vanilla never hurt anyone right?"

asra shrugged, " why not?" he asked rhetorically

Nyx got the milk out and poured some in. 3 cups of milk was about 1 jar. They knew their measurements like the back of their hand. "Alright after you put the eggs in we can stir."

"alrght," he put the two eggs in and began string

"Alright when your done with that poor the wet ingredients in the dry ingredients bowl and stir." Nyx instructed wiping something on there apron.

asra sighed and mixed them all as well " my arms are tired!"

"Baking does that. Do you want me to help you?" Nyx asked.

" please.." he said and gave a warm smile

Nyx put their hands on and stirred the mixture with Asra. They looked down at the human and smiled.
