asra flushed but smiled warmly

"There and now we have cake batter." Nyx exclaimed. "Now put the batter in the pan and put that in the oven."

asra did so, going back to nyx "so what now?"

"We wait for the cake to bake. I have some books if you want to read to pass the time?" Nyx asked walking over to a small bookshelf in there bedroom.

asra followed him

"What do you like to read I have Shakespeare, Dickens, whatever." Nyx asked kneeling down to look through their books.

“ any deltora shadowlands?”

"A few. Here." Nyx said and handed the human a book while they got themselves a copy of Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol.

Asra sat down and started reading, he always got lost in his books.

Nyx was reading their book that they've read a million times before. They looked over at the human and smiled.

Sara was reading solemnly, only looking up to check the time

"We should probably check the cake huh?" Nyx suggested closing their book.

“ yeah!” He said excitedly

Nyx looked in the oven and saw that the cake was done. "Alright Asra could you please grab the oven mittens the cake is done." They asked politely.

Asra nodded and broght them the mitts

Nyx took the mitts and took the cakes out and place it on the table. "Thank you. Now we wait for the cake to cool down."

" it smells nice."

"Yea I really love the smell." Nyx responded with a warm smile.

asra cuddled up to nyx, yawning a bit

Nyx looked down at the human and smiled. They grabbed a near by blanket and placed it on Asra.

asra smiled, holding the blanket around the both of them

Nyx fell asleep with Asra and lay their head on his.

asra had done so as well, only waking when the moon did. "mm.."
