Alex: WOAH!! I’ve heard of the names before but I didn’t know that’s what it was? Why were they even separated anyways?

Alex: that’s cool and all, but what would this help with though?? And I just lost my house!!
Jim: once we know for sure there are no more bounty hunters after Nikita you can stay at my place. And plus, that fire burnt up everything you had didn’t it? Even your clothes?
alex looked down, her clothes were still ripped from shape shifting

Jim: maybe my mom can take you with us to the mall some time when she is off of work to get you new clothes.
Alex: that would be nice..

nikita sighed " mother, replay last five minutes "

the replay footage was shaky, and blurry. The clearest image they could see was of the man dropping the torch, mid change.

Jim: let’s just head back to mothership for now. I think I might have a set of clothes for you to use.

they all started to head back to the mother ship

nikite went to his room and brought out a couple of shirts and pants along with a pair of lace up boots "dont know if you need these but here."

*she grabbed the cloths, thanked him, and went to change

nikita sat on the couch and curled up into a blanket

after she changed, she sat next to nikita, staring at the book trying to figure out why it didn’t burst into flames. It wasn’t made out of anything other than wood and paper like the rest of the books
Jim: maybe it has a spell on it..
Alex: the person who sold it didn’t say it had one, and your specifically supposed to say if it does or not in troll shops or else you could be cursed for ever!!
Jim: what if someone else was supposed to burn it?
Alex: that involves spells.
she picked it up and it had a whole different index, she could understand it. It was in trollish.

she said flipping through the pages

nikita moved to put his head on her leg, still sleepin

she noticed that she was holding the book upside down compared to the last time it was opened, so she flipped around. Nothing. She then turned it back around, closed it, turned it around and opened it. It was in akiridion again

Mother: it’s time for bed children.
Jim: we will take it to troll market and figure puts what’s up with it.
he said, standing up to go to his room, and Tobias followed. Alex stayed there, staring at it, and eventually fell asleep on the couch

mother woke them up the next morning
Mother: time to get ready for school children!

"awww mam come on.." nikita whined

Mother: can’t be late for school! I’m pretty sure you have the Spanish exam today.
Jim and Tobias: SPANISH EXAM?!
alex looked at the time
Alex: MOTHER!! YOUR TIME IS OFF!! ITS 8:30 WE ARE GOING TO MISS THE EXAM!!!

nikita had barely realized it but his eyes hadn't changed the entire way there. eli had seen them

they got to school with minutes to spare, and uhl was waiting at the door for them with their tests. They all have a nervous chuckle, grabbed their papers and all sat down to do the test. 5 minutes later
Uhl: times up!
the group groaned, and whispered to eachother
Alex to jim: how much did you get done?
Jim: only half of the first page!
Alex: Toby?
Tobias: barely past the first five questions!
Alex: I got barely two pages done out of the five!! Nikita??
