alex bent her fork in pain
Barbara: if you want Jim could go ahead and show you the guest room, it’s the only free bedroom we have. Tomorrow I could take us shopping since it’s a Saturday and get you out of those baggy clothes.
Alex: yeah that would be nice.
nikita scooted around a bit, shifting into a small cat like being and hopping into their principles lap
Strickler: oh! Haha I didn’t know you guys had a cat.
Barbara: huh? But we-
Alex: do! We do! Uh me and Jim, found him in an ally way in a trash can. So while we were at nikitas place we took care of him.
she punched Jim to go along with it
jim nodded " i thought id call him niki." he said
nikita dug his nails into stricklers legs as he purred
Strickler: ow- haha off you go!
he picked him up and put him on the ground
Barbara: well I hope you know what your doing. I’m barely ever home and neither are you, cats need a lot of attention too.
nikita then turned to jims mother, purring and setting on her.
Alex: if we ever needed to we can give him to tobias’s nana for babysitting.
she looked at Nikita to tell him to come to her
nikita did so, trotting across the table casually
alex picked him up
Barbara: alright fine. But I’m not buying for littler or food.
Alex: haha you won’t have too..
Strickler: oh would you look at the time! I better get going.
he said standing up and looking at his watch
nikita growled, were not done here
Strickler: haha, yes. Uh.. I’ll get going then. The dinner was lovely.
he said walking out the door. Barbara took a sip of her smoothie and gagged a little too
Barbara: ugh, well. Jim go ahead and take Alex up to the guest room while I get these dishes.
nikita stayed in alexes arms. his head falling onto her arm god your warm..
once they got to the room, she threw Nikita onto the bed
nikita rolled and hissed, shifting back " could have been a little easier?"
alex sat next to him and had her elbows on her knees and her hands oh her face, and just sat there in silence
" you alright?" he asked in akiridian. puling her into a hug
Alex: I don’t know…
she said quietly
nikita sighed and held her close, relaxing his head on hers " im so sorry.."
Alex: you should go before Barbara catches you.
" its fine, ill just be an emotional support cat for a bit."
Alex: hehe, ok…
she said as she laid down in the bed as if she were to sleep, Jim was already heading to his room

nikita shifted ad laid beside her, not wanting to say he couldnt fall asleep alone
they woke up next morning to Jim rudely waking them from their slumber
Jim: morning guys!
Nikita hissed and began to stretch
Jim: sorry! Breakfast is ready, and mom had someone to cover her for work so she is kind of excited to hang out with you alex. So she had me wake you guys up.
Alex: ughhhhh ok..
she said as she sluggishly got up
Nikita followed her, shaking out the fur coat and Walking Down the stairs
Barbara: hey Alex! I got the day off today and was wondering if you would like to go to the mall so we could get you some new clothes?
alex spoke while picking Nikita up
Alex: that would be nice. Ooo!! Pancakes!
she immediately sat down, putting Nikita in her lap and started scarfing down the pancakes
Barbara: wow! You’re really hungry, aren’t you?
she said chuckling and eating her pancakes
Nikita slyly stole one of the pancakes off Alexa plate and ate it on her lap
alex poked at him and whispered
Alex: 1.) I thought you hated pancakes and 2.) your getting syrup on my legs!
