It took a couple of weeks before Kaito was released from the hospital, but he was in much better condition than he was before. His strength was already returning, and he felt well enough to do things. He spent a lot of time with Shuichi and Shadow, just enjoying life. As months passed, he was secretly planning out how to propose to Shuichi. The past half a year had been drama free. Both had recovered from their incidents, and things were fine.

Shuichi bounces around the house laughing and playing.

Kaito can't help but laugh at this. "You're adorable, Shuichi.."

" thanks Kai " he said and smiled.

"You make me so happy.." He stood up and walked over to the other, gently tapping him. "Also, we're now playing tag, and you're it!" He laughed and ran off, enjoying the fun, even if it was childish.

"!" Shuichi chased after him. "Hey!"

Kaito laughed a lot as his boyfriend chased him. "You're gonna have to catch me~!" He teased the other, having fun.

Shuichi tackled the other, ending up on top, " ha!"

"How did you even…?" He laughed. "To think I was the one getting tackled.." He was simply being playful.

Shuichi laughed. " Geusd you win "

Kaito smiled at him. "You're adorable either way, and that was fun."

" yeah, " he said and gave a soft kiss to the other.

Kaito smiled and kissed the other back. "I love you."

" I love you!" He said

"Yes, but I love you more!"

" nah I love you more!"

"No, I love you more, Shuichi, and you know it!"

" mm then prove it!" He joked

"Gladly." Kaito smiled before kissing him.

Shuichi smiled and kissed him back.

"And I believe that proves my point. If it doesn't, I'll gladly do it again."

" it's still unclear to me," he said slyly.

"Well then, I guess I'm doing that again.." He kissed the other once more.

" good." He said and kissed back

"I'm gonna keep doing this until you realize I love you more."
