Chi waddled over to Nikita's cage, noticing his sidebag. Chi tilted his head, before squeezing his way though the bars and digging his head inside the bag. He grabs the crown in his beak, and stares at Nikita with big, questioning eyes.

Nikita gave a warning growl. Put it back. He thought and nudged the bird. His umber horns glowed as his unplates did with the blue fire, resting in his chest it waited to be let out.

Instead of heading the warning, Chi tossed the crown out of the cage and into the mud. He cooed at Nikita, taunting him. Chi then noticed the smoke emitting from Nikita's nostril, and squirmed back to the other side of the cage bars. Chi then took the crown and flew off.

Nikita lunged at his cage doors. Now he was causing a scene, fighting to get out. He bounced around slamming the bars with his tail

Arrow returned, crown in jaws, to the struggling prince. "Prince Nikita, how did I not recognize you?" She unlocked the cage. "Come now, I must show you to your new area. No prince should be treated like you have been." There was a mean look on Arrow's face, almost vengeance.

Nikita growled deathly. His fangs bared as smoke seapted from his mouth.

Arrow stared at the snarling dragon, injured and beaten.

"Oh, how silly. You really do feel so entitled to everything. You're not in control anymore. We choose your fate, prince."

He seemed a little shocked. Backing down. He shifted back, falling limply to his knees. " You traitor! " He growled out.

"My liege, I am simply doing what is fair. Your family has been in power for so long that it's only fair the common have a say in what does and doesn't happen."

" your people don't belong in the power to make choices! You the very thing we're trying to protect the kingdom from!" He snarled

"Yes, after you destroy our homes, tax us unfairly, and kill our families. Why wouldn't we be mad?" She dragged her tail up to to Nikita's snout. "You killed all of them, Nikita. I don't understand why, or how, but you did. Your family is viscous, and the sooner you realize that, the better."

" I have no spilled blood on my hands. You can put me through the test of the sun and I will come out white." He said coldly. Nikita jerked his head away

Arrow shook her head. "Well, of course, but all royals are the same. You will become your father, and you will kill us."

" I will be nothing like my father. He is cruel and I will prove that theory wrong."

She paused. "Then, come with me. I'll teach you how to." Arrow began to walk towards a forest.

Nikita hesitated a moment before limping out and following her. His left leg was clearly in pain, no matter how much his face stayed like stone " so how do you propose I do that? "

"Take the throne, that's all you need to do to end the war. We're not against the royals, we're against the king. So, if you simply kill him, everyone would be free." Arrow continued to sink into the forest. "Here, the troops would love to meet you."

Nikita looked over the army. " Their all trained? What's their center? If you are all poison you are all screwed. Dad has fire, just like me. We both can put a brutal end to you if a spark catched that gas."

"Yes, they all have some degree of training, and no, they are not all centered in poison. We have a few ices, a few waters, a few fires, and some storms. Oh, and poison." She looked at them, most of them confused by the prince showing up. "I believe we might have a new member of the revolution."

The leader glared at Arrow and Nikita.

Nikita gave a calm look to the leader. His wings shifted to close behind his back " hello,"

The leader's eyes narrowed. "And why would the prince join us?" She sniffed the wounds on his wings.

Nikita drew back " because it seems we have the same intentions against my father, so maybe we can work together" he said a little snappy

She nodded. "That's fine then, but you get no royal treatment during your time as a soldier. All are treated equally here." She handed Nikita a dagger. "Here, you can use this if you ever can't use magic."

Nikita nodded, " I expect no royal treatment, not even when I take throne." He said and let his flame consume his dagger, letting it stay there.
