She grins at the person she pulled the knife on, then flips it closed, tosses it in the air and catches it in her boot. She walks out, laughing. "Oh- did you see the look on their face? Priceless!"

"They did seem rather surprised and a bit fearful.." Jay finally shows a bit of tone in his words, a hint of happiness or enjoyment finally showing as he speaks. "I didn't know you were that kinda person, but I wouldn't have known until witnessing it since I just see everyone as classmates and nothing more. Nothing about them crosses my mind."
"Makes sense. I know I don't look the type to be a walking arsenal, and yet…" she grins, then opens one side of her jacket, which has quite the variety of pocketknives, switchblades, Swiss Army knives and a lot of others. "These have all come in handy. On the other side are my throwing knives."
She notices the hint of emotion in his voice. Oh, you're warming up to me! I know you don't necessarily want to, yet you are. I could use that later…
"You really seem to be prepared for everything." He has to keep fighting back a small smile. "I mean, in your case, that appears to be committing crimes, causing chaos, and making the world fear you, but that's something I like about you. You have the audacity to prove stereotypes wrong. Well, and you do the things I've been tempted to do just to get back at society. Mostly the first thing, though." He doesn't like how open he's being with her, but he can't control it anymore. He's starting to warm up to her.
Ren snorts and starts laughing. "Be violent and feared, do crimes, cause chaos. My three favourite things in the world. And knives. Definitely knives." she says, noticing Jay's difficulty holding back a smile. He's actually kinda cute. I don't like it, but he is… she thinks, then mentally shakes herself. Don't you dare fall for that boy.
Jay is barely able to hold back a smile and laughter, but he manages, still wondering why he even has a desire to express any sort of emotion towards Ren. What is it with this girl? Why do I feel like actively expressing my emotions and thoughts around her? This shouldn't be happening.. I don't trust her.
He turns his attention out of his thoughts and back to her. "I see you have strange interests, but they're cool, really. You are definitely an interesting person to be around."
Well… I really don't like the fact that he's this cute. Cute guys are normally assholes. Well, more asshole-ish than this guy is…
She is intently watching Jay, however, as she continues laughing. I really do not need my reputation ruined… she thinks, her laughter slowly dying out. "Again, I know I have strange interests. That is what makes me who I am."
"You've got a point there. Your interests do make you who you are, not what other people say about you.. Opinions are opinions, not facts." He comes to a slight realization.
Why am I thinking that anything about her is advice that could help me? He sighs internally. I shouldn't be like this with her. I have no idea how she'll treat me. Why do I keep trying to open up to her? How stupid can I be? He is rather frustrated with himself for simply thinking like this.
Ren nods, glad that Jay understood. "Exactly."
She notices his mind start to wander and smiles internally, then berates herself. Damn it Ren! Don't fall for him, don't you dare.
"Sure, you have hobbies such as committing crimes, but you're actively proving the world wrong. Besides, you have yet to get caught by any authorities, so who can really say what you're doing is illegal?" He hates how much he's enjoying this conversation…
Ren starts laughing again. "Who said crime and violence aren't my hobbies?" she says, watching as the ambulances rush past once more, presumably with the students caught in the chemistry lab explosion. "Yeah, I haven't been caught yet, so it isn't illegal."
Jay continues to fight back a smile, barely managing to do so once more. "That's my point. Who said it's illegal if you haven't been caught? It's causing chaos, but in secret, making it so much fun. You just get to sit back, relax, and enjoy everything you started."
Ren hums, loving the fact that she's found someone that appreciates her. "You know, I like you." she says suddenly, turning towards him. "Not like that. You're a very interesting person."
A thought occurs to her and she snorts. "And I still don't have your name, I believe."
Jay appears rather surprised at the comment, not finding any reason to assume she's lying about that. "You…actually like me..? Did I hear you correctly?" He has no idea whether she is lying to him or not, but he feels like he should trust her. "I guess I trust you enough to reveal my name. It's Jay."
Ren laughs. "Well, duh! And I like very few people. Consider yourself lucky."
She nods. "Jay… ineteresting. Is that short for Jaiden, or Jayson?"
"Well, maybe you'll be the only person I like, if you end up being lucky.." He still has no idea why he trusts her like he does. "Anyways, no, it's just Jay."
Ren smiles. "Fair enough." she shrugs. "Really? Interesting."
Jay, despite his best efforts, actually smiles a bit. "You probably will be lucky.. Anyways, it's not that interesting."
Ren looks at Jay's smile. "You know, a smile suits you better than that annoyed, mopey expression you have all the time."
"I choose not to express my emotions around others, but thank you…?" He honestly doesn't know what to say to that comment.
Ren snickers. "Fair enough. Although, it's easier to hide the bad stuff than the good stuff."
"I mean, that's true, but I've gotten more than used to hiding everything from everyone…"
Ren looks over at Jay once more. "Get used to not hiding anything around me. It'll be very difficult to do so."
"Given how this has been so far, I wouldn't be surprised…" He is still confused as to what it is about Ren that makes him open up, but he's beginning to accept with that he opens up to her.
Ren snorts. "Exactly."
She starts doing acrobatics because why not, doing flips and jumps right there and nearly causing 5 accidents as she makes her way across the street. She nearly scissor kicks a person, and when the person goes to say something, she pulls out a wicked looking knife and looks them right in the eyes, flipping the knife over and over. The person quickly goes away.
