Amelia moaned softly at the kiss, then giggled.

“ you really like to ag me on don't you?” he said with a teasing tone. Suddenly there was a knock at the ship's door. Keigo went to go investigate, as he hadn't had any signs on his ship for a seller to identify. He opened the door and the sudden flash of blonde hair he remembered so well almost sent him on his ass. “ holly shit..” he mumbled

Amelia grinned, giggling,”Yes I do.”

She turned at the knock and followed Keigo. She paused when he opened the door, looking at Keigo with concern then at the person at the door in confusion.

Bull stepped out of his room a moment later, holding a large rifle and aiming it at the open door.

“Alright, who the fuck is this?”he growled.

“M..my ex..” Keigo stumbled backward into Amelia by accident

“ aww but kego I'm not your ex love..” she taunted him with a sickly sweet tone.

Amelia was mostly unfazed by Keigo backing into her. She put an arm against his back to support him as she cautiously watched the woman. Amelia didn’t like her tone one bit, and her fingers itched to grab one of her daggers, or even her pistol.

Bull took a step forward, aiming directly at the woman, his expression made of solid stone.

“You might wanna watch your fucking tone, missie. I don’t miss,”he growled.

Jonathan, still lingering in his room, heard the commotion. He snuck out of his room and peeked around a corner to see what was going on. The expression on Bull greatly concerned him and he grabbed his pad, quickly messaging Boris.

‘Get back here NOW! Trouble!’

Boris, who was on his way back to the ship, paused and read the message. His eyes widened and he hurried the rest of the way. He then stealthily approached Keigo’s ship, shotgun in hand. He saw a woman he didn’t know, but stayed concealed, watching.

The woman seemed to back down a bit “ got yourself a new crew kego? How sweet. And who's this girl. “ she asked and took a step forward, shutting the door behind her

Keigo was froze with shock “ y.. You're supposed to be dead.. I saw you get shot!” he said as tears filled his eyes. Every horrible moment of him blaming himself rushed his head. His stress charts spiked with every step she took toward him.

“Take one more fucking step and I fucking blow you through that fucking door!”Bull snarled.

Amelia suppressed a grimace. Bull was getting pissed, and starting to reveal why he was actually nicknamed ‘Bull’. The more pissed off he got, the less likely he could be stopped.

“I’d prefer knowing your name before I say mine,”Amelia said evenly.

Her fingers massaged between Keigo’s shoulders, trying to comfort him as much as calm herself.

Jonathan heard the door shut and silently cursed. He typed on his pad again.

‘She’s his ex. She shut the fucking door.’

He quickly got a reply.

I noticed! You’ve got to separate them, now! I don’t care how, but get Keigo away from that fucking woman. My fucking pad is going berserk!

Jonathan grimaced, typing back.

‘How? I can’t just go up and say hi. It doesn’t work like that!’

I don’t fucking care how! Separate them!

Jonathan silently cursed again and again. How? How could he do it? He then remembered something, a strategy that the group hadn’t used in years.

“Avant-garde!”Jonathan shouted, a signal to Bull.

Keigo flinched harshly when Jonathan called. “ what the fuck does that mean!?” he said to Amelia

The woman only laughed, “ kera. My name is kera”

“It means this!”Bull snarled.

He flipped his rifle and slammed it into the back of Kera’s head, hard enough to knock her out for a while.

Bull then turned to Keigo, still fuming.

“Boy, who the fuck is this woman? Yeah, she’s your ex, but what else? Start talking!”he growled.

“Bull, take a moment to cool off. None of us expected this,”Amelia said, her tone even so that she didn’t provoke the man.

Bull huffed at her, then glared when a knock echoed on the door.

“It’s just Boris! Let me the fuck in!”

Bull sighed, took a deep breath, and opened the door. Boris stepped in, assessing the situation.

“Bird-Man, grab a chair, take a moment to breathe and calm down. Emma, you stay with him. Bull, sit your fucking ass down and chill! Beta-Man, thank you,”Boris said, his voice gentle toward Keigo, then stern at Bull.

Amelia nodded in understanding. Bull huffed, then grabbed his gun and vanished into his room. Jonathan cautiously appeared, nodding at Boris.

Keigo shook his head, he'd started pacing from stress as soon as the woman was out. “ she was dead.. I saw her fall..” he paused a moment to take a breath, he kept staring down at Kera “ she was dead!”

Toaci had come flying out of his room, heading to Keigo almost readily for something bad “ kego! Kego!” he chirped

Boris sighed, looking at Amelia pleadingly, then picked up Kera and headed into one of the spare rooms to drop her on the bed. He didn’t know what was going on, or what would happen, but right now, he wanted everyone to calm down.

Boris then exited the room, standing in front of the door, blocking it, and watching Keigo closely.

Amelia noticed Boris’ look, then turned to Keigo. She gently grabbed him by the shoulders, encouraging him to stop pacing.

“Come on, take a deep breath, take your mind of it for a second. And let’s go find somewhere to sit for a moment, for both our sakes,”she coaxed gently, her eyes staring into his, offering comfort and support.

Jonathan watched everything silently, not sure how he could help. Edgar came flying out and landed on Jonathan’s head, drawing a chuckle from him.

“Hello?”Edgar chirped, concerned and a bit confused.

Jonathan reached up to gently pet Edgar, soothing the bird somewhat.

Keigo gave into Amelia, as he always had so easily. He wrapped his arms around her, unable to do much else to try and calm down. “ I… I don't… I'm worried for you and.. “ he couldn't keep his mind straight enough to form a sentence but he started to relax the longer amelia was in his arms.

After a good few minutes, Kera started to wake again, holding her head, and tried to sit up. “ what in the wide name of fuck is going on with him..” she looked around the room and realized it was the spare room “ greeaaatt”

“Shh. Come on, let’s sit down,”Amelia cooed, rubbing his back a moment.

She then gently escaped his grip and led him into the cafeteria. She had no idea why she went there, but it was just… somewhere else. She sat with him, wrapping her arms around him again, tightly hugging him.

Boris stiffened when he heard Kera’s voice, but didn’t move. He wasn’t about to encourage her talking, but he also wasn’t going to let her get out.

Jonathan, after watching Amelia and Keigo leave, headed to check on Bull. He softly knocked on the door.

“Fuck off.”

Jonathan sighed, not surprised, and went back to his room. Edgar nuzzled him and Jonathan chuckled. He was so glad he had gotten Edgar.

Toaci, being the special needs bird he was, packed at bulls door softly “ let in. Let in. No cup.”

Keigo finally sat down. He was shaking when he finally did but he was down. Something about kera being alive stressed him, what if she goes to get him killed again, what if she does it to Amelia?

Bull opened his door and smirked at Toaci.

“I’m irritated, not stressed out. I don’t like strangers in the ship. Go comfort, Kei. He needs your presence more than I do,”Bull said.

Amelia felt Keigo’s shaking and moved to cradle his face in her hands. She stared into his eyes softly.

“Hush that mind of yours. Just focus on this moment, on me. We’ll deal with whatever happens later. But, for right now, it’s just me and you, together, in this room,”she cooed.

“ I can't. What if she comes after you like she did me. I wouldn't nor couldn't get over that. I'm not losing you, ever. “ he spoke softly, he leaned forward and put his forehead on Amelia's. He put his hand over on of hers.

Toaci stayed put, waiting for bull to give him his hand to perch. He chirped a few times, watching bull

Amelia smiled softly, appreciating his words. It truly comforted her to know that he didn’t want to lose her.

“‘What if’ questions do little good, love. And I’m tougher than I look. So, shush those worries. We’ll figure out what’s going on, and deal with it accordingly. But, right now, hold me, just hold me,”she said quietly.

Bull sighed and held out his hand for Toaci. He didn’t know why the bird was focusing on him. Keigo was in worse shape than he was, and Bull had always been the most aggressive of the crew toward intruders.

Keigo pulled Amelia into his lap and left his head on her shoulder. He wrapped his arms around her, right but not to tight. He was definitely better off in Amelia's care.

Kera got up and tried to open the door, at first she just twitched the door handle but when it wouldn't push open and rammed the door.

Toaci walked up his hand, curling up on bulls shoulder and relaxing.

Amelia wrapped her arms around Keigo, holding him as tightly as he held her and lightly rubbing his back. Her tensed muscles slowly relaxed in his grip.

Boris flinched at the bang and he glanced over his shoulder at the door. He wasn’t sure why Kera would waste her time trying to ram through a locked steel door. Though, just in case, he kept his shotgun handy.

Bull watched Toaci and rose an eyebrow, bewildered.

“You’re a strange bird,”he mumbled, gently petting Toaci.

He then shut his door and returned to counting his ammo and checking all of his guns. He also checked the handful of knives he had.

Toaci stayed on Bull's shoulder the whole time just watching him. Sometimes he would be sleeping and others he'd be just sitting there. Maybe it was the colder weather that kept toaci so tired.

Keigo smiled slightly when Amelia rubbed his back, taking a couple deep breaths and calming down fully.

Kera rubbed her arm, after having bashed it

Bull continued his weapon checking, but he did calm down a bit quicker with Toaci around. He didn’t know much about birds, but he was steadily gaining more respect for them.

A soft smile grew on Amelia’s lips as Keigo calmed. She continued to hold him and rub his back.

“I love you,”she said softly.

Boris listened closely, alert for anything else Kera might try.

“ the on day I come back to fuck keigo over for what he did and I get locked in a damn room!” kera Called aloud.

Keigo pulled back from Amelia “ I'm better now.. Thank you.”

Boris narrowed his eyes, concerned by Kera’s words. What had Keigo done? Did he truly deserve this woman’s vengeance? He doubted it. Something just seemed off about Kera, and Boris suspected that her being shot was the reason.

Amelia smiled warmly at him.

“You’re welcome, love. And, you’re still cuddly as can be,”she said, giggling a little bit.

“ yeah, I guess a bullet can't stop me huh” he said a bit happily

Kera banged on the door “ let me out damn it!”

Amelia giggled.

“Your cuddles are invincible. Nothing can stop that,”she said humorously, laughing.

Boris cursed under his breath. Bull was usually the guard. Boris was the damn medic! And where the fuck was Bull anyway?

He stayed silent, hoping Kera would shut up eventually.

Bull finished his weapon checks, reloaded the rifle he had held earlier, and headed out of his room, looking for where Boris had put Kera. He hoped someone was standing guard, because if that woman had escaped, Bull would kill her then probably shoot Boris in the foot for the trouble.

Kera was yelling up a storm. “ LET ME THE FUCK OUT!”

Keigo gave a small laugh, kissing Amelia. He pulled her a little bit closer to him before hearing kera shouting. He flinched a little

Boris winced at the yells, then saw Bull approaching and sighed in relief. He waved for Bull to take over and stepped aside.

Bull came up and slammed the butt of his rifle against the door.

“If you don’t shut the fuck up in there, you’re never getting out of that room!”Bull snapped at Kera.

Amelia savored the kiss, chuckling. When she felt him flinch, she rubbed his back again and kissed him on the forehead before leaning her forehead on his.

“Don’t let her get to you. Don’t let her scare you half to death before we even figure out what’s going on,”she cooed.

A fire gleamed deep in her soft eyes, one that glowed with experience. She wasn’t about to let anyone hurt Keigo, and she would be damned if this Kera woman made him suffer anymore.

Keigo sighed “ right. That's why I'm going to figure this the fuck out. Right here right now.” he said and let Amelia off before walking to her room. He was determined to get the goddamn reason out of her.

Kera flinched when she heard the bang “ who the hell are you!?”

Amelia nodded in understanding, then followed Keigo.

“I’m the guy who knocked you out, and I will gladly do it again. Now, calm your shit and explain why the fuck you’re here, and I might consider opening this fucking door,”Bull snarled.

Boris watched nearby, and was the first one to notice Keigo and Amelia’s approach. He waved in greeting, then held his finger over his mouth before pointing at Bull, telling the two to be quiet so Bull could interrogate Kera.
