Yeah, so the band size is "how far around are you?" In American sizing, it's in inches. I'm a 36, meaning my chest, including breasts are 36 inches around. And then cup size is calculated by the difference between band and the measurement of the chest just below the breasts. A cup is a difference of 1, B is a difference of 2, C is a difference of 3, and so on
So I'm a 36B, meaning my whole chest is 36 inches around, and there's a difference of 2 inches between my chest counting and not counting the breasts.

I think last time I checked I'm a D cup but I just go to Aerie and get an XL. Honestly, they are probably the comfiest bras I can find
A good bra is life changing imo. You should definitely get sized or measure yourself. It helps things fit a lot better.

The only lasting problem is hiding it and washing it. It's currently in my best friend's car and I can only wash it when I know my parents won't be home for a while. I haven't used it in a while bc ✨chronic pain ✨ but depending on how nosy your parents are it's not too much of a hassle to keep. So, if you have cash and a good friend who wouldn't get in trouble, that's one way to get one.
