Kore nodded once before heading to the bathroom. She entered the handicapped stall and locked the door behind her. She took a deep breath before sapping the energy from her feather towards healing her hands. After double-checking her hands and the and holds of her crutches before heading back to Adrian.
Adrian was still working quietly as he waited for her to return.
Kore sat down at the table across from Adrian, "Hey, so, um, have any more book ideas?"
"Mm, a few. I wrote them down." He slid the list over to her.
Kore took the list from him and looked over the books before passing her own list to him, "I, uh, made one too."
Adrian nodded, tking her list and studying it.
Kore studied his list for a little longer before looking back at Adrian, "These aren't bad."
He smiled faintly. "Thanks."
Kore smiled back before quickly letting her face fall neutral, "You're welcome. Um, uh, what do you think of mine?"
He studied her list for a moment longer. "It looks good."
"Thanks," Kore replied before humming slightly in thought, "So, um, now I guess we just need to get and read these books?"
"Yeah, that's probably a good starting point."
"Heh, yeah," Kore felt a little embarrassed about the suggestion, "Anyways, any more ideas for the project?"
"Ah…" he trailed off. "Give me your email, maybe?"
"Oh, yeah, I can do that," Kore replied getting ready to rattle it off, "Ummm, what is it for exactly?"
"Setting up a shared doc?" he replied, pulling open a black document on his computer.
"Oh, um, that makes sense," Kore replied before rattling off her email assuming he was ready for it.
He typed in her email, sending her the link to be able to access it. "There we go."
Kore pulled out her laptop and opened up the shared doc, "Okay cool."
Kore gave a smile back before going to the shared doc and copying their lists onto the doc.
He opened one of the books, flipping through it.
Kore hesitated for a moment not having brought any books of her own. She eventually began the process of getting up to find a book of her own to read through.
"You could borrow mine." he said as she started to get up.
"Oh, um, you wouldn't mind?" Kore asked as she began to sit back down resettling her weight.
"Nah." he smiled, pushing them over to her.
Kore smiled back and took one of the books from the top, "Um, thanks!"
He nodded a little, flipping through his own again.
Kore began to flip through the book in front of her relishing in the silence between them.
Adrian continued looking through his book.
