Jezariah sat on the roof, his legs hanging off of the edge.
His eyes wandered towards the building, the fire had gotten much smaller.
Smaller screamers circled it, crawling out of windows and up the beams.
Jez was lucky most screamed didn't have a good sense of smell. With now 5 people over in a single building. They would be screwed.

He looks out to the road as an opossum scurried along the road and towards the building. Only to get yanked out of the street by a monster in the distance, his mouth unhinging, and to swallow it. Another screamer though the size of a cat came up beside it, grabbing the now-dead animal's head and tearing it from its body and running off to eat it, running behind a broken car to do so. Though about three more followed it and all you could hear was screeching, the screamers fighting over the fresh kill.

Gus listened curiously as Darius explained. "Huh….that's real strange. No wonder you have trouble gettin' around. Well, maybe now that you're with some friends, we can help you with that." He still wasn't sure if Jez would allow them to become a long-term group, but they were definitely at least together for a day or two. "Have you had a bad memory your whole life, then? June smiled softly, not sure how much this girl understood, doubting that she could really understand, but letting it go. After all she was the only person that knew about it, As she removed all traces of it from Darius memory, which she will admit was cruel, but it was that or having to explain to Dare what had happened over and over and over again.
Darius shrugged, “All my life, thought sometimes it is not as bad, like now…I can keep up a conversation without my mind committing a factory reset” he smiled, for the first time in a while.
She internally sighed, moving to make her way after Jez, "I'm going after the other guy…" Was all she said, she forgot Jez name if he even introduced herself and noticed him on the roof and made her way over to him and sat down next to him, she knew to be silent so she made herself as quiet as possibly making her way over to him and sitting down holding her knees.
Gus grinned. "That's crazy. You learn somethin' every day, Ma used to tell me. I can see why you keep that notebook, that's pretty clever." He could barely imagine living in constant confusion, always forgetting things, but to him it seemed like Darius was handling his situation very well, considering. "Say, you like huntin' or fishin'? I found this magazine here that's got some pretty cool pictures in it."
Darius shook his head, “no I don’t like dead things” he pulled a couple of small notebooks out of his pocket, “they each have something different, things I need to know, but some have missing pages…” he shook his head, trying to focus.
Jund sat down and started sharpening her sword. She had the tool for it, she kept it in the bottom of her quiver of arrows.
"Oh. Well I guess that's fair." Gus put the magazine away and watched Darius think curiously. then he noticed June sitting nearby and his eyes widened. "Hey—you have a sword? Where in th' heck did you get that?"
June grinned "Family heirloom," she said showing of the greek style blade made of black metal. "it is a xiphos or greek short sword, my…well lets just say it came from my father, and I ended up getting it after tragic events" She said sadly, not sure if she wanted to go into her past without them asking, of course it is not like she minded.
Darius picked up a fork and practiced stabbing the air. (because yes)
