June looked at the hatchet and smiled sweetly, “sorry hun, didn’t mean to set you off, but Dare is like a brother to me, and I just want to stand up for him”

“Nametags would help” Darius shrugged.

Gus glanced at Jez, troubled. Standing up, he shepherded June and Darius back into the main room on the store. "Why don't we go look for those name tags then? I'm sure there's somethin' in here we could use." Jez seemed to need some space, and hopefully Gus could help give him that for at least a little while.

Jasper did slightly jump at June's appearance but seemingly moved to immediately clamp down a hand on her wrist, trying to make sure no one noticed anything before trying to not act super suspicious or tense even though she was really tense in the moment, slightly glaring at June as they exited the room, and trying to calm down.
She tried to stay close to Jez.

Jez scoffs "don't give you the right to touch me," he says, already a bit annoyed she called him hun, feeling as if she were saying that in a belittling way.
When they left the room Jez relaxed a little bit, his breath a bit shallow and worked up now.
He heads the that lead to the roof "ill be on the roof if you need me" he says to Jasper.

June looked around the store in the office first and eventually found stickers and a pen. She grinned and stuck one to Darius’ shirt after writing his name on it, then giving herself one.

Darius just followed her around reading in his notebook, it had a mix of his and June’s handwriting in it.

Gus made a tag for himself as well, trying not to worry about Jez too much. They'd had a rough day so far and had met a lot of new people. Gus was always happy in a crowd, but he understood it had to be overwhelming for those who were less extroverted. Hopefully things would settle down soon and everyone would get used to each other's company, particularly if they were stuck here for a while. He told himself he'd give Jez a while to be alone, then go check on him.

Jasper sighed, wanting to follow Jez but knowing she probably should keep an eye on the new people and make sure they didn't do anything to Gus…she did have somewhat care for him, even if it was just bc he could find her brother.
She jerked her sleeves over her wrists, and followed rhem out, staying close to Gus and staring down the two of them while hidding behind things and Gus.

June fixed Darius hair, as it was a mess. “You need food, when is the last time you are Dare? Oh right 3 days ago wasn’t it? The last time I saw you. I told you you should write when you eat so you don’t forget you need food” she shook her head.

Darius looked at her confused, not sure why she was worried.

Gus was brought back to the present with a snap. "Oh, you need food? Here." He briefly returned to the staff room and came back with a can of soup and some trail mix. "Can't eat up the soup, sorry, but take it. We got plenty."
He noticed Jasper watching from the shadows as he passed and gave her a slight smile, glad she was feeling brave enough to join them. He didn't say anything though, letting her stay hidden if that's what she wanted.

June took the food with a thanks and practically forced Darius to eat the soup. “You can’t starve yourself hun” she shook her head.

Jasper slowly inches closer to June, staring at her from all her different hidding places, she seems to be intensely staring at June and then moving and reappearing in sight of June and staring her down. "What are you up to? What's your purpose for being her? What's your plan? Hm?"

Gus hung around while June and Darius ate, poking at the shelves of items in search of something interesting. He found a hunting and fishing magazine and brightened, leaning against the checkout counter to flip through it. He knew most of the tips and tactics already, and of course the catalogue section was useless to him, but it was something fun to look at.

June looked at Jasper and smiled, “my only purpose was to find Dare, now just to survive, if you and the guys want us to leave then we will, I have had a hard enough time no reason to make human enemies” she said plainly, a hint of sadness in her voice that she hid behind her smile.

She stared her down intensely, staring into Junes eyes as she spoke as much as she could, trying to find something that she really just couldn't find as much as she tried too.
She bit her lip looking away from them, and down, at her hands.
"I..i guess your not so bad ..just, don't hurt anyone or i will come at you. Alright?" She looked back at them, staring at them with a softer look.

June lowered her voice, “I only hurt someone one time, and I had no choice, I would never hurt the people who have treated me with such respect” she said sadly.

Darius set the Can down and went to go find …something only to end up walking into a wall and falling down.

Gus caught the tail end of their conversation and watched out of the corner of his eye, not wanting to interfere as long as they were being friendly. He'd guessed that June and Darius didn't mean any harm, but it warmed his heart to see Jasper acting protective even if she didn't fully trust them yet. Hopefully, no hard feelings would linger after today.
Seeing Darius collide with the wall yet again, he sighed and walked over. "Hey, you okay pal? That wall really jumped you there." He offered his hand to help Darius up. "Hope this ain't rude, but is there somethin' wrong with your peepers?"

“My what?” Darius asked confused, letting Gus help him up. It took him a minute before he realized what Gus was saying, “ooh my eyes? No I just like blank out sometimes…so I don’t know what I am doing or where I am” he said, acting almost completely different than he was a few minutes ago.
