Jacob nods, "You want anything Mark?" Mark shakes his head at his cousin, "I'll pass."

Rose looks at Dawn, "But large?"

"You can get a large, Rose, but I'm getting a medium," Dawn said, laughing.

"Don't worry, Princess, I'll get a large and a medium." Jacob winks at her before hurrying off.

"Yay!" Rose lifted her hands up.

Dawn shook her head, smiling. "See? No problem."

Rose nodded. Her fingers started tapping against the counter. One-two-one-two-three.

Jacob returns after a moment, just as Mark was finishing off his vegan burger. He smiles, "Fries, a medium, and a a large." he says happily.

Dawn cheered, then started piling the salty sticks of goodness onto her burger. She took a bite, swallowed it, then grinned.

"Awesome burgers, amazing fries. What else you got back there? Decadent milkshakes?" she asked half-joking.

Jacob laughs, "Markus here is the king of making vegan milkshakes, but yes, we have a variety of foods, sweets, drinks, all that jazz." Mark nudges his cousin playfully and they both laugh.

Rose perks up, “Jazz? Ooo Fries!”

She grabs a fry and eats it.

Mark laughs, "Should we tell them?" He asks. Jacob chuckles, "depends on if they can take it while they're eating." He answers, giving a hearty laugh.

"What? What is it?" Dawn questioned the boys, glaring at them.

“Tell us what?” Rose asked while eating another fry, or two, or three.

Jacob and Mark snicker, "Okay, so. Mark, my brothers, and I… well… what we did, is we took one of my dad's burgers, a large coke, and a large fry and we put it in the blender. We then drank it." Jacob says, laughing. "Poor Mark threw up. I got sick, and Kazi, my brother couldn't see straight for a good 24 hours."

Dawn grimaced.

"Ew. That's gross, guys. I mean, if it was just the burger and fries, that wouldn't be so bad, but a Coke?!?" She shuddered. "That's just disgusting."

“Cool,” Rose responded.

"Speak of the devil, Kazi should be here any minute to take over my shift." Jacob says happily. Mark laughs, shaking his head as Jacob leans back in his chair.

"Does that mean you're leaving?" Rose asked.

"Nah, if you guys are fine with me staying I'll stay." Jacob says laughing, "But be prepared for my twin." he chuckles, "he's the dangerous out of the two." Mark rolls his eyes. "Double the trouble in my opinion."

"Oooo like Team Rocket?" Rose stuffed a few more fries in her mouth.

Jacob laughs. "A little like that. Ah! There he is!" The two looked exactly alike, sweeping raven black hair, blue eyes, well built, fair skin. Jacob smirks, "Took you long enough Kazi!" He says laughing. Kazi rolls his eyes, smiling a bit. He spots the group of teenagers sitting around his brother, and smirks when he sees his cousin. ""sup." He says, nodding to the group. Mark stands and does another complicated handshake with the other twin. "Out causing trouble again?" He asks. Kazi shakes his head, "Nah. I have to have my partner in crime with me when I do that." He says, laughing. He bows to the group, "Kazian, at your service."

"Sup Kazian. The name's Kai." Kai mumbled out before finishing his burger. "Nice to meet you and your bro."

"Charmed." He smiles a bit. "It's been a while, Mark. Been busy with the band." Mark nods, "That and other things." Kazi nods, his face turning concerned for a moment before a cheeky smile covers his face, "Alrighty. Well, I gotta get to work. Nice meeting you guys." He winks at them, "Hang around, eh? I'd love to hear the band." he smiles before waving and leaving.

"Yeah, he seems really dangerous, Jacob," Dawn laughed. She finished up her burger and moved onto her fries.

Kai had begun to pick at his fries after he waved goodbye to Kazian. He was lost in thought, more or less worrying about the look Mark and Kazian shared. It was a small and quick look, but it was there. Is Mark doing okay…? He seemed to be fine, but could that just be a charade? He scowled at his food.

Rose noticed the look the two share. She could miss half a lecture from a teacher, but far be it if she saw something happen with her friends. She thought about say something and in the and didn't. Opting to eat more fries.

Mark stands, "I'll be back in a minute, need to use the men's room." He says, smiling. Jacob nods, smiling a this cousin, "Alright dude, just make sure not to make the toilet explode." Mark rolls his eyes, "I only did that once!"

After Mark was gone, Dawn quietly asked, "So… what's up with Mark? You don't have to answer that! Just curious."

Jacob hums, "I know little about my cousins life, since he rarely talks about it. But from what I heard, my aunt has been… difficult lately." he says simply.
