"Then we'll make sure your home by ten," Rose smiled at him.

"Ha yeah. No worries dude. We'll get ya home on time." Kai smiled. "I'm open to any time, as long as I tell my parents beforehand."

Mark smiles a bit, his cousin patting him on the back, "If you want, I can call up aunt Jess and ask her if you can stay with us, that way you can stay out for as long as you need." Jacob offers.

Rose nodded, "You can always stay with me too."

Mark glances at Rose curiously before nodding to his cousin, "Thanks." he says softly, nodding to Jacob.

"What?" Rose looked at him, "I live in a big apartment. I have the room."

He laughs softly, "I mean no offense Rose." He smiles.

"Good," she nodded. Her fingers tapped against the table.

He smiles softly before sighing and leaning back.

She recognized a pattern that her fingers had been tapping to. She smiled and then began to use her whole hands. Tap–tap–clap–tap-tap-tap-tap–tap–tap–clap–tap-tap-tap-tap…

Mark starts, before starting to hum along with her rhythm.

Rose's smile grew and she also began to hum.

Dawn smiled as she joined in, clapping along with Rose and humming.

Mark bobs his head in time with the music, Jacob tapping in rhythm with Rose.

Tod quietly taps his foot to the beat, grinning as the rhythm speeds up.

Jacob and Mark share a look before Jacob starts humming a melody.

Tod smirks, seeing that they're almost all in on the rhythm. It gives him chills, even in its simplicity.

Dawn continued humming and clapping. She almost wanted to sing, but not here and now.

Rose continued to clap and keep the beat. Her mind became focused on that one thing only.
