He kissed her again.
"I'm not." She said, laughing a bit.
He kissed her again.
"I'm not." She said, laughing a bit.
She hummed softly and returned the kiss.
“Then that kinda throws a wrench into those plans, doesn't it?” Sophie teased.
He smiled.
"Of course not. I don't have to be interested in men to marry one." she replied, smirking. "I'll just have a…close female friend who of course must live with me."
She smiled back at him.
“Ah. That… I can understand that plan.” Sophie nodded. “Not sure I’d be able to do it, unless I was the “friend”.” she winked.
He kissed her cheek.
She smiled again. "Maybe you could be."
She giggled softly.
“That could be fun.” Sophie smiled back.
He smield again.
She beamed. "Definitely."
She smiled back.
“Honestly, I never thought about getting married before.” Sophie admitted.
He held her close, closing his eyes.
She nodded slightly. "I haven't thought about it a ton, really."
She rested her head against his shoulder and nuzzled into his embrace.
“Yeah.” Sophie sighed. “I’d settle for someone who would tolerate spending more than a few days with me.”
He kept her close, letting out a quiet breath.
She nodded a little. "I get that."
She smiled a little and sighed softly.
Sophie nodded and gave a small shrug. “I’ve been told that I’m hard to handle long term.”
He was still quiet.
She shrugged. "I don't know."
She smiled softly and closed her eyes.
“What do you mean?” Sophie asked, raising a brow.
He kept holding onto her.
"I mean I wouldn't know how you are long term." she replied. "Sorry."
She leaned up slightly and kissed his cheek.
“Ah. Right.” Sophie nodded. “We did just meet yesterday. You don't have to apologize for that.”
He smiled again, holding her.
She shrugged. "Right, of course."
She chuckled softly and nuzzled closer.
“It’s ok.” Sophie shrugged.
He hummed for a moment, still holding her.
She smiled a little, nodding.
She smiled at the sound.
Sophie leaned back against the couch.
He kissed her again.
"Oh, it's my turn, isn't it?"
She hummed softly, still smiling.
“I think so.” Sophie nodded.
He let out a little sigh, still holding her.
"Right. Well. What's your favorite, uh,, dessert?"
She opened her eyes and looked up at him, at how peaceful he appeared.
“Oh, that's a tough one.” Sophie hummed. “Honestly… I love chocolate and ice cream. Especially a good Sunday. But I also really like red velvet cake and cheesecakes.”
His eyes were closed, face relaxed.
She nodded a little. "Cheesecakes are phenomenal."
She smiled softly. Sometimes it was almost hard to believe that he was the same man who fought against her so many times.
“They are. So rich and creamy with just the right amount of crunch from the crust.” Sophie hummed.
He let out a soft, faint little hum, still holding her close.
"Oh, you're making me want one now." she complained, laughing softly.
She bit her lip to keep from giggling at the sound.
“Sorry.” Sophie chuckled, holding her hands up in surrender. “They’re just so good. And I have a major sweet tooth. I can't help it.”
He kept holding her.
She laughed again. "Of course."
She let out a soft breath and nuzzled closer.
Sophie smiled and poked her side. “I don't hear you judging.”
