He was still rubbing her back, touch soft and gentle.
"I am, yeah."
He was still rubbing her back, touch soft and gentle.
"I am, yeah."
She hummed softly, pressing a gentle kiss to his skin.
“I think that's so cool. You get to travel a lot and see so many places.” Sophie smiled. “Now, I'm not complaining but, all I've ever traveled to was the ocean.”
He smiled, holding her.
"Yeah, it kind of was. And I mean, the ocean is neat."
She kept her arms around him and gave him an affectionate squeeze.
“One of my favorite places.” Sophie admitted. “Alright… I think it's your turn to ask another question since I already asked you one.”
He kept rubbing her back, smiling still.
"Right, yes." she thought for a moment. "This one's kind of goofy, but. If you had to pick a decade between 1950 and the 90's to live in, which would you pick?"
She smiled softly and let out a contented sigh.
“Ooh… That's a good one.” Sophie hummed. “Well, I admit I always thought that the 20’s looked interesting… But given your choice, I’d say either 60’s or 70’s. Those were pretty exciting.”
He smiled as well, still holding her.
She nodded a little. "Yeah, they were. And the 20's were pretty cool too."
She looked up at him and kissed his jaw.
“Mhm.” Sophie smiled. “And the dresses… Gorgeous! Especially the Flapper style.”
He smiled again.
"Yeah, they definitely."
She smiled softly back.
Sophie nodded. “I bet we can both pull off that look too.”
He kissed the top of her head, still smiling.
She laughed. "Maybe we can, yeah. Either way, it would be fun."
She giggled a little and nuzzled against him.
“It would be.” Sophie agreed. “Alright, my turn. Uhh, do you have a favorite book or movie?”
He grinned, laughing softly.
"Yeah, which one do you want me to tell you about?"
“You’re teasing me.” she giggled.
Sophie shrugged. “Either or.”
He laughed again. "I'm sure I don't know what you're talking about."
She nodded, considering the question for a long moment. "Favorite book is probably…oh, I don't know actually. I like fantasy and romance. My favorite movie is the Lord of the Rings."
“Sure you don't.” she smirked.
Sophie hummed a little, nodding. “Lord of the Rings is a great trilogy. I think we have the extended cut.”
He laughed, nuzzling her cheek softly.
"The extended version is the best." she agreed.
She blushed at the action but smiled.
“Yeah. It's gotten to the point where I get disappointed when I watch it on tv and know exactly what they cut out.” Sophie admitted.
He smiled happily.
"Yeah, me too." she replied. "That's why I only watch the extended editions."
She smiled back.
“Maybe we could all do a movie night sometime.” Sophie suggested.
He kissed her forehead again.
"What, you and me and Jade and Killian?" she asked.
She hummed happily at him.
“Yeah. Why not?” Sophie smiled with a shrug. “He’s the only one I know of who can keep Jade still and happy for that long. Oh, and…” she grinned wildly as she pulled out her phone. “I don't remember if I showed you this but I just love this picture.” she explained, showing Raven the picture of Jade and Killian on the couch asleep in each other's arms.
He smiled down at her.
She smiled at the photo. "I believe you did, yes."
She smiled back up at him.
“Ah, sorry.” Sophie nodded. “It’s just the only picture I have of him and the only picture of her being so relaxed.” she explained
He closed his eyes for a moment.
"Nah, it's fine. It's a cute photo."
She leaned up and kissed his cheek.
“Yeah, it is.” Sophie smiled. “Jade hates that I have this. I think she doesn't like looking… vulnerable.”
He laughed a little bit.
She nodded a little bit. "Yeah. I get that."
She smiled, loving his laugh.
Sophie hummed a little. “I mean there's nothing wrong with it, and I get being guarded but… Before she started dating him, she pulled away from any chance to be with other people besides me.”
He smiled again, kissing her cheek.
"Yeah." she said softly. "Probably just a defensive mechanism."
She hummed happily, biting her tongue to keep from saying how she felt.
“Yeah, I guess.” Sophie agreed.
