"Yeah, that's for sure. I hope you're able to fix it," Ilya said. "Wait, so this might be a dumb question, but are you both human?"

"Eddie is a primitive, I'm and advanced."

"You call him primitive, but he looks like a normal guy to me. What's the difference, if you don't mind?" Ilya was quite confused. After all, it was miraculous that they had survived the crash. There was something strange about these people.

Teresa hiked through the woods, staring up at the sky. Lost in thought, she yelped when Thomas shook her. "Wha…?"
"Look," he said, pointing. "Smoke."
Smoke meant fire. Fire in the woods probably meant danger.
"Don't say it."
"Let's go check it out."
Of course, the two always found themselves in danger now.

"He's from Earth. I'm an advanced human from a different planet."

Ilya nodded. "That's cool. I take it you're a fairly peaceful bunch, seeing you haven't invaded yet."
(I have no idea where to fit my poor boy in, because technically he's from a fantasy-story in an alternate universe…)

They trekked through the forest towards the source of the smoke, stopping behind a destroyed spaceship. Without even looking at each other, Thomas automatically turned invisible and Teresa shifted into a small snake.

Brenwyn appeared at the site of the crash. “Woah… what happened here?” She asked wonderingly.

Ilya turned to Brenwyn. "A spaceship crashed, but it looks like everyone is fine."

“A what now?” Thomas forgot he was invisible and slapped a hand over his mouth, slowly reappearing. “Uh… hi?”

“That’s good,” Brenwyn said, still concerned. “Any injuries? What’s with invisible-guy?”

Ilya was somehow not surprised by anything. Not the invisibility, not the spaceship. Nothing. He just kind of stared, then explained what he could: a spaceship had crashed, and he just got here. He didn't know anyone. Not those who had crashed, nor the invisible guy.

“Teresa,” Thomas called, looking at the ground. A few feet away, a tall, Native American looking woman seemingly grew out of the ground.
“I’m Teresa. This is Thomas.”

“I’m a reality warper….” Brenwyn said. “But I don’t think I’m doing this.”

"I'm Ilya," he muttered, intimidated by the use of magic likely more powerful than his own, which was saying a lot.
