Jade hummed a little as she enjoyed her plate of pancakes and the coffee.
Sophie sighed a little and sat up to gather her dishes.

He sipped at his coffee again, quiet.
She looked up at Sophie.
Jade smiled a little, looking up at him.
Sophie caught her gaze a smiled back before walking towards the sink.
He smiled a little bit back.
Raven offered up a quick smile, running her hands through her hair.
“You know you're a pretty good cook.” she smiled, dragging a cut of pancake through some of the syrup on her plate.
“So… Do you have to be anywhere or do anything?” Sophie asked as she put her dishes in the sink.
"Thanks." He replied, taking another bite of his food.
"Mm…I don't think so. Do you?" She responded.
Jade smiled again and nodded. “Do you cook often or am I just lucky?”
“No. Today's my day off.” Sophie admitted. “Probably part of the reason why I got a little carried away last night.”
Killian shrugged. "Both? I don't know."
"Ah, I see, I see." she replied, smiling lightly.
Jade chuckled a little, not making fun of him… more like she had just been teasing. “Well, this really is delicious.” she assured him honestly.
Sophie shrugged a little and walked back to the table. “Wonder how Jade is doing. Normally, she's stumbling into the kitchen when she smells the coffee.”
He smiled. "Thanks, Jade." he replied.
"Oh. Hm. Maybe she's sick?" Raven suggested with a shrug.
“Thank you.” she smiled back.
Sophie paused for a moment and gave a small hum. “Maybe… I honestly don't remember the last time Jade got sick. I just know that she'd never admit to being under the weather and I would practically have to tie her to the bed so she would rest.”
He took another bite of food.
She shrugged a little. "I don't knoww, then."
Jade hummed a little and took a sip of her drink.
“I’ll check on her just in case.” Sophie assured, smiling as she stood up.
He watched her quietly, then away again.
"Alright." she gave Sophie a quick smile.
She smiled a little when she caught him looking.
Sophie walked over to her roommate’s door and knocked before just walking in.
He ate some more food, quiet.
Raven waited quietly for Sophie to come back.
Sophie hummed, raising a brow when she saw the empty room, and quickly went into her own room. Once she found her phone she dialed Jade’s number.
Jade jumped a little when she heard her phone ringing. “Sorry. I’ll be right back.” she apologized to Killian before getting up to take the call in the other room.
"It's fine." he replied, shrugging his shoulders faintly as he watched her go.
Raven continuied to wait, quiet.
“Hello?”
“Hey. Where are you? It looks like you didn't come home last night.” Sophie smirked.
“I thought I text you that I was staying with Killian…” Jade answered. “Or at least not to worry about me.”
Killian finished his food, but didn't leave the table just yet, waiting for Jade to come back.
Raven sipped at her water some more.
“Ooohhh.” Sophie’s smirk grew. “Well, I don't really remember a text but if you're with your beau, then don't let me interrupt.”
“You’re one to talk! Or did you forget about your date with Raven?” Jade pointed out.
“Don’t worry about Ray-ray. She's still here and we had a great time. I’ll tell her you said “hi”.”
Raven stretched, leaning back in her seat.
“Just know, I’m going to ask her about it.” Jade warned, though there was no anger in it.
“Bye, Jade.” Sophie chuckled as she walked back out to the kitchen and hung up.
Killian yawned quietly, then took another sip of his coffee.
Raven looked up as Sophie came back. "Hey."
Jade sighed and made her way back to Killian.
“Hey.” Sophie smiled. “Turns out Jade spent the night with her boyfriend.”
Killian looked up. "Hey." he greeted.
Raven nodded a little bit. "I see."
“Hey.” Jade smiled softly, taking her seat again.
Sophie chuckled. “Good news is this time, she didn't try to say that Killian wasn’t her boyfriend.”
"That was Sophie, yeah?" he asked, raising his eyebrows.
Raven laughed. "Ah, well, that's good, then."
Jade nodded. “And apparently, Raven stayed the night in our apartment.” she sighed, rubbing her forehead.
“Definite progress.” Sophie giggled, genuinely happy for her friend and perhaps a little hopeful that things would work out.
He nodded faintly. "Is that a problem?"
She smiled over at Sophie.
