He sat down on the couch, pulling her with him.
He sat down on the couch, pulling her with him.
She gave a playful yelp as she landed on the couch next to him, still smiling as she made herself comfortable.
He laughed a little, kissing her cheek.
She giggled softly, returning the kiss as she curled up next to him.
He pulled a blanket over to wrap around them, smiling.
“Thank you.” she smiled, hugging him.
He hugged her back.
Jade hummed happily, resting against him.
He kept holding her, closing his eyes.
“Tired or just happy?” she asked softly with a gentle smile.
"Mm, both."
She chuckled softly and nodded. “Me too.”
He laughed quietly, kissing the side of her head, eyes still closed.
She giggled softly, nuzzling closer and pressing a light kiss against his jaw.
He smiled softly at her, holding her close.
She smiled softly up at him, her eyes half closed.
He hummed very faintly as he held onto her.
Jade smiled, returning the embrace and kissing his cheek.
He hummed again, holding her.
“How was your day?” she asked softly, finally breaking their silence.
He shrugged a little. "It was fine. Normal, I guess. What about yours?"
She hummed thoughtfully before answering. “Well, I met a good friend in a surprising place and introduced her to my roommate. And Sophie took her to dinner, though I don't know what else they may be doing… But, for once, I’m not too worried about it.” she smiled, confident that Raven would be able to take care of the other woman.
He laughed quietly. "I see. So you set your roommate up on a date?"
“I didn't think about it like that at the time… but I guess I did.” she shrugged. “I probably should have though. I mean, Sophie is, at least, Bi… and Raven isn't interested in men.” she admitted with a sigh.
He laughed again, nodding and kissing her cheek. "I see."
She smiled at his laugh and kissed his cheek in return. “Like I said, I'm not too worried. If anything, Raven could be a good influence on Sophie.”
He raised his eyebrows a little. "Oh, really?"
She giggled at the question but refused to clarify. She’d already used Raven’s real name and wasn't about to endanger her by telling him how they knew each other.
He laughed a little. "What, you aren't going to tell me anything else?"
“Depends what you want to know.” she smiled coyly.
