Dion quickly pulled aside another waitress as she hurried by with an expresso, "All drinks on me today." He winked and left her to go about her business.

She didn't look up from her book because she already knew who it was, and took a sip of her drink, "Hey Wings."

Hermes sighed and leaned forward, looking at her book. "What are you reading today?"

"Second book of the Maze Runner Trilogy, Scorch Trails," She said while showing him the cover of the book, and takes another sip of her drink.

"Oh, that's a good one." Hermes smiled, looking at the cover and tracing the handle on the mug he was drinking from. "Wait 'till you get to Death Cure. You're in for a real surprise."

"Hey, don't spoil it!" She said while smiling still reading the book.

"Hm, when you're done with the books, you're going to have to watch the movies." Hermes started, taking a sip from his drink as he watched her read. "I have tickets to the first one."

"Ah young love. Go send them some grapes and chocolate, will you dear?" He sent the other waitress over, smiling devilishly.

She looked from her book and at Hermes,"Can I have one?"

"Of course. That's why I got them, Wise Girl." Hermes said, winking at her. "We could, uh, go together?" He added on, his hand rubbing the back of his neck nervously, a soft blush spreading across his cheeks.

"Sure!" She said while smiling. She didn't really pay attention to the fact that it was just her and Hermes.

"Awesome!" He exclaimed, his boyish grin returning. "Pick you up around four o'clock tomorrow?"

"Sure!" She went back to reading her book and took another sip of her drink.

Hermes watched her read for a few more moments and then reached into his bag and grabbed a leather bound notebook that he had received from Apollo yesterday. He opened it and began to sketch Athena out.

She kept on reading while taking a sip of her drink every so often, she didn't notice the fact that Hermes was still there since she was absorbed in her book.

(He's shipping them so he might wanna stir the pot so to speak lol. sure)

Dion saw the exchange and couldn't help himself as he got up from the sofa and sauntered over to the two as the chocolates arrived. "Oh, how delightful! Send an invite to the wedding, will you? I'll bring the champagne for the party… and the after party." He wriggled his eyebrows at the two.

Ooohh things are getting interesting, Bastet thought, observing the other occupants of the cafe.
After stretching out, she lept out of her chair and shifted into her humanoid form in mid-air, landing gracefully and walking over to the ordering counter.

Hermes glanced up at the man who had approached them, setting the pencil in his hands down. "Uh. . . wedding?" He asked, blushing even deeper and cursing himself for being so embarrassed.

She looked up from her book and at Dion with a confused look, "We're not gonna have a wedding…"

Waiting in line, Basted smirked at the Dion and the others.
Who needs Netflix when you got entertainment like this?
After ordering and receiving her caramel latte (extra whipped cream) she returned to her table and her people watching.

( I love how Hermes is blushing and Athena just says, "Hahah. . . no."

"Oh please, you two can barely stop fawning over each other! Also…" Dionysus popped a chocolate piece into his mouth before continuing, "I'd like some part of the child to be named in my honor. After all since I saw the whole sha-bang coming from the beginning." He gave a thumbs-up in Bastet's direction.

"I am not fawning over Hermes!" She said quickly while a light blush made its way onto her cheeks.

"Sha-bang?" Hermes asked, running a hand through his hair embarrassingly as he glanced over at Bastet in the corner of the cafe.

Persephone watched the scene with interest. She wondered if she would ever meet a guy like Hermes who liked her that much.

She looked at Hermes,"What?"

"Oh, you know what" Dionysus replied, and raised his eyebrow incredulously.

Or girl. Actually, anyone who liked her that much. (If someone makes a Hades character she's going to lowkey ignore the potential ship lol but hey taking of Persephone, am I right?)

"Why don't you enlighten me with that piece of information?" She said with a hint of sass in her voice and with a smirk.
