(Yikes)
( she may or may not be a total idiot.)
(Oh man…)
Aspen blushed, the tips of her ears turning red and then leaned into the kiss, she wrapped her arms around Beans waist and exhaled against her lips, when she pulled away, she was still blushing "I love you too." She said into Bean's ear softly.
Bean smiled softly. “Do you want to get some fresh air? Judging by how long my brother and Kas were out there, I’m assuming the air’s quite nice,” she pointed towards the door. “Plus, I’ve always felt at peace in nature. Maybe that’s because my family lived in a woodland area but still…” she started getting excited, jumping up and down a little.
Aspen nodded slowly, pulling Bean along with her, out the door, where she sat down slowly, her hip sending a sharp pain through her body, but she gritted her teeth and ignored it, she invited Bean to sit next to her "I wont bite…I think" she said smiling at the other girl.
Bean smiled and sat next to her. “You feeling okay?” her face turned to one of worry. “I saw you grit your teeth,” she put her hand on Aspen’s knee. She leaned her head on Aspen’s shoulder. She wanted to say how nice it was outside but she wanted to be sure that the other girl was okay first.
Aspen smiled "yeah, im fine, no need to worry about me." She said quietly, smiling at Bean softly "its nice out here, seems like a totally different than the one I had when I was alone." She said quietly, leaning her head on Bean's.
Mori closed his eyes and whined softly, starting to go limp in Lilac's arms as he struggled to stay awake. Kas curled in on himself a bit more and yawned, tucking his arms up against his chest to get more comfortable.
Bean nodded. “Yeah…but if you’re not feeling okay, you should rest,” she told Aspen, still worried. Lilac held Mori close. “Don’t go to sleep yet kid…” she whispered as she tried to wake him up. Luka continued to sleep, mumbling something about boats and islands.
"Mmmm…" Mori looked up at Lilac weakly, his gaze dull and hazy. "But I'm tiiiired…" He whined. "Wanna sleep… why can't I sleep…?"
Lilac brushed his hair with her fingers. “Because the medicine hasn’t completely kicked in yet. It could be dangerous to fall asleep right now,” she sighed. “Once it’s kicked in, you can sleep…” she told him, trying to reassure him.
Aspen sighed "can we at least enjoy the view before we go inside and rest?" she asked her quietly "I cant rest, not until I know Mori is okay." She added quietly.
"Mmmmmm…" Mori buried his face in Lilac's shoulder, obviously not very pleased with the answer. "But I wanna go to sleep nooooow…"
Bean nodded. “Of course…I know how you feel,” she smiled a little, leaning against Aspen. She looked off into the distance, enjoying the view. Lilac sighed. “I know, I know…but not until Aspen gives us the okay, alright? I don’t want you to get hurt…” she held him close, feeling bad that she had to say no to him.
"Tiiiiired…" Mori whined louder, holding tighter to Lilac. "My head hurts and I wanna sleep. Don't wanna be awake anymore…"
Lilac rubbed Mori’s back. “I know…I know…maybe you can sleep for a tiny bit, but you have to promise to wake back up,” she told him, not wanting to get in trouble but not wanting him to be too tired. She also wanted him to be okay and safe and it’s hard to do that when someone’s asleep.
Aspen smiled and sighed "its beautiful, isn't it?" she asked Bean quietly. Twiddling with her fingers.
Bean nodded, grabbing onto Aspen’s hand. “I wish the circumstances were better, though…” she sighed quietly.
(how did you guys do three whole pages in the couple hours before I got up? Did I miss anything or was it only flirting)
(Hehehehe)
(Pretty much just flirting and Mori isn't feeling great lol)
"Mm…" Mori closed his eyes and soon relaxed in Lilac's arms. He relaxed more once he was actually asleep since he wasn't in as much pain anymore, and he seemed more content.
(Yeah, I haven't posted anything new, no major plot points)
Lilac held Mori close as she continued to brush her fingers through his hair. She stayed quiet so that she wouldn’t wake him up. Sleep tight, kid… she thought as she stayed up, keeping watch.
"Yeah… I bet it's hard not having that closure. What I went through- it was brutal- but at least… at least I wasn't left wondering. That must be tough," Tohru replied softly, "But yeah, you're right. You do have us now. And we're going to do everything we can to keep each other alive."
(my last post, which got lost in the void ;-;)
Aspen sighed too, her eyes blinking slowly, she looked out into the world and gave a final sigh "its crazy, how long this has been the new normal, I cant even remember how long its been since that first day, when they announced the virus outbreak." She said quietly, her eyes scanning the horizon.
Bean nodded. “So much has happened since then…” she whispered, leaning against Aspen. She still had a hard time believing this was really happening. That she lost her parents. That she lost Hailey. It was all a little too much for her. She took a deep breath.
Aspen looked out into the sky "my mom used to always tell me if we were together, as long as we had each other; we were okay. But then I was alone, I was alone and lost and I-" she swallowed and sighed warily "and I didnt know what to do." She added quietly, toying with a thread on her pants, pulling at it "she told me that and then she left me, all alone…all because she refused to use violence to protect herself." Aspen added angrily, her voice faltering with sadness.
Bean hugged Aspen tightly. “I’m so sorry…” she muttered as tears pricked the corners of her eyes. She wished she could help. She wished she could do anything to fix this whole situation. But she can’t….and that hurt.
