(Levi's been on the floor in the other room this whole time cause I haven't been online to move him)

Levi woke up with a jolt, sitting up immediately. He glanced around, no one was there, they'd all left him asleep on the floor. "Ah shit. Thanks guys." He managed to say, his throat as dry as a bone.

He stumbled into the room with Tohru and Kas, eyes half closed, holding his hurt arm gently with the other. "Is it morning or am I dead?" He asked, still mostly asleep.

Tohru whipped around, glad to see that Levi was finally up.
"Oh good, you're up," he said, getting to his feet unsteadily, "Probably needed the rest, huh? How're you feeling?"

"Who are you…?" Kas looked over his shoulder at Levi, blinking tiredly. "You guys really do have a lot of people with you, huh?" He sighed and curled back up on the couch. Mori waved to Levi, swaying where he stood.

"We um… we met at a survivor outpost yesterday," Tohru explained, "Most of us were alone or in pairs before."
He looked down at his feet, finding himself a bit beyond just uncomfortable physically. A slight tightness had worked its way into his stomach and up into his chest.

"Mm… I don't think I went to whatever survivors' outpost. I've been surviving fine." Kas coughed weakly and curled in on himself, hugging his stomach. "I-I can hunt and cook for myself and stuff."

"I had Mori with me, so it was especially important that we stocked up on more supplies and maybe found some other people to travel with," Tohru explained, "Traveling alone is hard, but traveling in pairs is brutal. You really depend on each other."

Mori nodded a bit. "Yeah… I was alone for a while, but I didn't really do great. My traps only worked about half the time…" He sighed and leaned against Tohru, closing his eyes so that the light wouldn't hurt them.
Kas shrugged a bit. "I was alright on my own. It's definitely nice to not have to worry about the wellbeing of another person."

"I'll admit, that after being alone for a while, looking after others is scary," Tohru replied, "It's not-"
He stopped, taking a heavy breath.
Something’s wrong… I'm just sleep deprived, right? Why is it getting so hard to breathe?
His grip tightened over the arm of the couch as he tried to keep up appearances.
"Sorry, lost my train of thought there," he murmured, trying to cover himself.

"Tohru, you really don't seem okay." Levi said, sitting cross-legged on the floor opposite the couch. "You sure you're alright? Be honest, so we don't get into deep shit later when we have to move or fight."

"I'm gonna go get some fresh air," Tohru replied softly, avoiding answering Levi's question.
He was trembling a lot more significantly now, his legs shaking where he stood. Tohru walked outside on the porch and sat down on the edge, quick to avoid any further pressing from the people there.
As soon as he found silence, he was interrupted by the pounding of blood in his ears.
He tucked his knees up to his chest, trying to ride whatever he was feeling out, but it just became harder and harder to get a good breath.

Bean heard talking and helped lead Lilac over to the others as Luka followed. “Is everyone okay? Where’s Tohru?” Bean asked as Lilac tried to keep her balance. Luka led Lilac to the couch and sat her down on it. “He was here earlier,” Luka looked around.

"Mr. Tohru isn't feeling good…" Mori said, his eyes fixed on the wall that Tohru was on the other side of. "Is he gonna be okay, Uncle Levi?" He asked worriedly, glancing up at the man.
Kas looked between yet even more new people, sighing softly to himself. We have a lot of kids in this group, and I'm willing to bet they're probably not as competent as I am. That's a lot of dead weight.

(Just wanted y'all to know that someone thought Kas and Luka were cute and made a little doodle of them 😭)

Luka sighed. “I hope he feels better soon…” he muttered as Bean nodded. Lilac gripped onto Luka’s shoulder, shaking slightly. I hate this… she told herself, unable to say it out loud.

Kas ran his fingers through his hair and curled in on himself, wincing a bit as he moved his leg. He soon got himself settled on the couch and passed out, absolutely exhausted at this point.

Luka immediately tried to calm his sister down and soon Lilac fell asleep. Luka sighed before leaning back. He always thought Lilac was the least likely to get hurt. Oh, how he was wrong.

Tohru ran his hands through his hair, trying to calm himself a bit, but even that was difficult.
"What the hell is happening…?" He whispered hoarsely.
Am I dying? Please, please… not like this…
The slight trembling from before had spread to his whole body, and he took soft, gasping breaths.
Tohru curled in on himself, almost into the fetal position as he continued to gasp for air.

Bean went silent before standing up. “Maybe one of us should check up on him,” she suggested as she walked off to go find Tohru. “He could be in a lot of pain…” she whispered to herself as her siblings stayed behind. “Tohru!” Bean called out as she looked around for him.

(Oh no, oh no, oh no)

Tohru thought he heard his name, but it was mostly drowned out by the intense ringing that had set in.
He opened his mouth to say something- not sure whether to call for help or push them away- but he was unable to get any words out.
