Grayson shrugged, taking back the bow. "Or you know, you could use a sword." He gestured to the one Cato had handed her. He was very attached to this bow, as much as he hated to admit it.

"Thanks!" said Ray. It wasn't as balanced as the one she was used to but it would do. She ran off to defeat the Cyclops holding her best (and only) friend hostage.
"Hey, ugly!" She called.

Peri struggled in the cyclops's hand. "Let me go!" She yelled, before seeing Ray standing on the ground with a sword in her hand. "Ray, no! You don't know what you're doing!"

Grayson watched as the girl ran away. "Well, that's Camp Half-Blood for ya." He chuckled, shaking his head.

"I'll be fine!" She assured her friend. "Catch!" She yelled to the cyclops, throwing the sword at its heart, narrowly missing Peri. It hit it's mark and the monster dissolved to dust, dropping peri.

Cato watched as the girl, clearly inexperienced when it came to personal combat, ran towards the monster. Oh, this will not end well, he thought.

Peri fell to the ground with an "Umph." She rubbed her head as she sat up, glaring at Ray. "What were you thinking?!"

Peri nodded at Cato, letting him help her up. She continued to glare at Ray. "You could have died!"

Out of the corner of his eye, Grayson saw the cyclops turn into dust. Wow. That chick knows what she's doing. He thought to himself, slinging the bow over his shoulder as he made his way over to the small group that had formed.
