“That’s fair.” she chuckled. “Though I’d have to admit that Lindsay Stirling is definitely one of my favorites.”
“That’s fair.” she chuckled. “Though I’d have to admit that Lindsay Stirling is definitely one of my favorites.”
"She's wonderful." she agreed, smiling.
Sophie nodded. “You can probably guess my favorite song by her.” she joked.
"Ah, which?"
“Master of Tides.” she smiled, blushing. “But Shatter Me was the first song I heard by her.”
"Both are excellent pieces." she replied, smiling over at Sophie.
“Yeah.” she smiled back. “What about you? Do you have any favorites from her?”
"Mm…Something Wild is pretty good."
“Oh, yeah. That is a good one.”
"Yeah. I like songs with vocals, so."
Sophie nodded. “Words can be just as meaningful in a song as the music itself.”
"Precisely."
Sophie smiled brightly, glad that they had a similar interest in music.
She smiled back.
“What other kind of music do you like?” she asked.
"Mm…big band, swing, jazz. Stuff like that."
“Nice. I don't know too many songs in those genres but I do like what I remember hearing.” she admitted.
"Frank Sinatra is a prime example."
“Oh, yes. He's amazing!”
"Yes, he's wonderful." she smiled.
“Is he one of your favorites?” she smiled back.
"Probably. He just has a wonderful voice." she replied, shrugging.
“Yeah. He does. It's like velvet.” she agreed.
"Yeah, it's…amazing."
“Yeah.” she nodded, gently squeezing her hand.
(gtg, goodnight!)
She squeezed Sophie's hand in return.
(good night!)
Sophie felt her face warm slightly but didn't let go.
She smiled over at the other woman.
Sophie smiled softly back as they continued walking.
She hummed faintly again.
