Sophie also shared that feeling of wanting to get to know Raven better. Though she had a few secrets that she wasn't eager to share though she expected everyone, even Raven and Jade, had some as well.

Of course Raven had secrets; she had quite a few, really.

Sophie didn't know what kind of secrets Raven had but she considered hers to be quite a whopper. Not even Jade knew about it… and it was probably for the better that she didn't.

Raven glanced over at Sophie, smiling softly.

(it's not actually that big of a deal considering the story, Sophie is just a little clueless 😉😉😉)

Sophie smiled softly back as they approached the fountain.

Her gaze flickered over to the fountain.

(glad I can build up the suspense 😆)

Sophie appeared to visibly relax more when she turned to look at the fountain. “Beautiful, isn't it?”

She nodded, examining the fountain quietly. "It is."

(just hope the reveal isn't a letdown…)

“Honestly, I love coming here.” she admitted, sitting on the edge of fountain.

"Yeah, it's really pretty."

“Yeah.” she smiled softly, patting a spot on the ledge next to her.

She sat down beside Sophie, still smiling.

Sophie giggled a little and slipped out of her shoes. “Did you know that water has, or is supposed to have, healing properties?”

She raised her eyebrows slightly. "Really?"

She nodded and turned towards the fountain. “Here. I’ll show you. Take off your shoes and put your feet in.” she smiled as she put her bare feet in the water.

"She nodded, taking off her shoes and putting her feet in the water.

“Now close your eyes.” she smiled.

She closed her eyes obediently.

“And just relax.” she added softly, glad that Raven was going along with it. “Feel the water and just be calm.”

Raven did her best to follow directions, staying quiet and focusing on the water.

Sophie smiled and closed her eyes as well, feeling the refreshing coolness of the water.

She let out a quiet, content breath.

Sophie smiled, resisting the temptation to just slide into the water and lay on the bottom.

She smiled a little as well, eyes still closed.

Sophie stretched out her limbs, keeping her feet under the water.

She didn't move, just shifted very faintly.

Sophie could feel the water calling her and she was so tempted to answer… but as she lowered her arms, her hand brushed against Raven’s, reminding her that she was not alone right now.

Raven opened an eye when Sophie's hand brushed hers, smiling softly.

Sophie cracked an eye open and looked over at Raven, feeling her face heat up slightly at the accidental touch.

She smiled at her.
