Raven nodded, waving to Jade as they headed out the door.

Jade waved back with a smile, wishing the two good luck as they left the apartment.

(hmmm might be fun)

Raven walked with Sophie, studying the other woman quietly.

(alright)

Sophie smiled as she lead her date to the elevator. “So, how do you and Jade know each other?” she asked.

"Ah, we met because of her work. I…called in for help with my computer."

“Ah! Makes sense. She’s really good at that stuff.” Sophie nodded, pressing the call button. “I’m guessing, then, you don't work in computers.”

"I do not, no. I'm an architect, in fact. I plan buildings." she smiled.

“Really? That's so cool.” she smiled back broadly. “Would I have seen any of your work then?”

"Uhm, maybe? I don't know. I'm nowhere near important enough to do any planning for the inner city, I mostly do houses and such."

Sophie nodded with a gentle hum as the elevator arrived. “Well, that's ok. All great artists had to start small before moving up to being well-known masters.” she winked.

She laughed softly. "That's quite true."

“The important thing, though, is that you are doing something that you love.” she smiled back.

"Precisely, and I enjoy it." She hummed a little.

“Good. There are too many people who have jobs they can't stand.”

"That's true as well. What do you do for a living?"

“I work at the library right now.” she said with a shrug. “It’s not a bad job… just a little boring.”

"Mm. Where do you want to work, then?"

“I don't know. I think I would like to teach swimming classes honestly.”

"Really? That sounds like a lot of fun."

“Yeah? Well, I'm glad you like the idea.” she smiled softly. “I… Jade jokes all the time about how much I love being in the water.” she admitted with a soft blush.

"Well, the water can be quite fun to be in, so I don't blame you."

“Thanks.” Sophie smiled softly. “I won't lie, I do enjoy being in the water a lot. If I believed in past lives, I would think I had been a mermaid or water nymph or something.” she chuckled.

She nodded a little, laughing quietly. "I see, I see."

Sophie smiled back. “What about you? What do you do for fun?”

"I like to play video games, or work on designs for future buildings. I enjoy doing it."

“Video games are fun.” she nodded. “But I don't have a chance of beating any of Jade's high scores. I just don't know how she does it.” she added with a shrug.

"Jade is just…very smart." She laughed a little bit. "I don't know either."

“Yeah, and gifted when it comes to computers.” Sophie nodded. “Honestly, if I had her skill, I would sign up to beta test new games.”

"True, that sounds exciting. Maybe she's too busy for that though."
